• Strategy Development: Accountable for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for the Company’s global supply chain to reduce costs, mitigate risk, improve quality, shorten lead times and reduce inventories.
• Procurement Management: Assess market and delivery conditions to determine the best strategy for sourcing and procuring materials based on present and future material availability, supplier performance, and total landed cost.
• Vendor Management: Assist in supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing performance management to ensure the Company gets the best possible prices/deals.
• Negotiation: Negotiate and secure the best payment terms and contract standard terms & conditions, including guarantee, warranty, liquidated damages, indemnity, etc.
• Terms & Conditions: Responsible for assessing and finalizing the special T&Cs to the standard T&Cs and awarding while maintaining high integrity.
• Contracts and Agreements: Play a significant role in preparing the procurement contracts for services, including engineering/CAPEX projects, goods, spares, consumables, and other materials, long-term sea & freight contracts, custom clearance contracts, lifting & shifting contracts complying with standard with general maintenance service & other misc.
• Cost Control: Conduct market research at the global level to identify the most cost-effective procurement source within acceptable quality criteria.
• Team Leadership: Build a world-class supply chain organization through identifying, coaching, and mentoring professionals as part of an overall talent management effort to recruit, retain, and engage top talent.
• Responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.
