Supervising operationally all the engineers of all disciplines and architects assigned to the project, directing and coordinating all engineering activities for the project, establishing the detailed project execution plan, project preliminary design report and development of the overall project engineering budget and schedule. Performing and managing the work in accordance with relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design guides and PGESCo Standard Application Programs. Coordinating engineering effort with Project Manager, Procurement, Construction, Startup, Project Controls and Owner.

Delegated to ACESCO-(Libya) as Electrical Engineering Manager/Project Manager, responsible for managing the electrical department, supervising the electrical engineering in the power generation, cogeneration, and desalination projects in addition to project managing the Substations and OHTL projects. Responsibility includes interfaces with owner, contractor, and site offices, in addition to managing the site offices of the SS and OHTL projects. Responsibility also includes staffing, managing and training of the electrical engineers.

Job description/level of responsibility: Working as Deputy Electrical Engineering Manager for Nubaria Combined Cycle project (2 x 750Mwe). Responsible for preparing the preliminary design report of the project, preparing technical specifications and related electrical drawings, preparing different bid packages, group time schedule and hours distribution, reviewing calculations and different design documents, in addition to taking the complete lead of physical design and its related work like 2d and 3d modeling, setroute program and cable routing and all related electrical physical works, also Contractor’s negotiation and coordination and all electrical related project managing.
Job description/level of responsibility: Worked as electrical consultant engineer for Cairo North Combined Cycle project (750Mwe) giving technical support to the electrical group and Reviewing and approving their technical documents, and that focused on the electrical physical aspects in addition to other electrical issues. During this period as well participated in preparing conceptual design for some other projects and technical proposals for other projects. Also I gave training courses in 2d and 3d design using microstation and 3dm. Participated as well in supporting Packages preparation for couple of Fossil projects.
Responsible for the electrical physical design Group for the Sidi Krir 3&4 boot power plant in PGESCo Cairo Office Egypt. That covered designing and routing of cable trays, ductbanks and electrical conduits in different areas in the plant implementing 3d modeling as well as 2d design and preparation of the 2d drawings associated with them. And that included also releasing all the interferences with other commodities and coordinating with the other concerned disciplines. Also included Setroute work related with the design and cable routing, area classifications and grounding drawings and design. Also giving some site support to the site engineers, for solving technical problems. During this period as well participated in preparing conceptual design for some small projects and giving training courses in 2d and 3d design using microstation and 3dm. Participated as well in supporting Packages preparation for couple of Fossil projects.
Working in the electrical physical design for the Sidi Krir 3&4 boot power plant in Bechtel Power office, Gaithersburg, USA. That covered designing and routing of cable trays, ductbanks and electrical conduits in different areas in the plant implementing 3d modeling as well as 2d design and preparation of the 2d drawings associated with them. And that included also releasing all the interferences with other commodities and coordinating with the other concerned disciplines. Also included Setroute work related with the design, cable routing, and area classifications.
Working in finalizing the detailed design of sidi krir 1&2 and Ayoun Mousa 1&2 project, and that covered electrical load lists follow up (including developing of a new organizing system for its database), cable routing and other system application in addition to following up any electrical physical work that might have come to picture.
Assigned to Bechtel corporation USA to join Ghazlan (Saudi Arabia) project electrical group.During the above period, I worked in the electrical physical design for the power plant which covered designing and routing of cable trays, ductbanks and electrical conduits in different areas in the plant like boiler and fuel oil area implementing 3d modeling as well as 2d design and preparation of the 2d drawings associated with them. And that included also releasing all the interferences with other commodities and coordinating with the other concerned disciplines and consortium parties. Also included Setroute work related with the design.I worked in grounding and area classification design for some parts of the plant.
Lead physical design engineer, responsible for the cable trays, conduits and ductbanks design using 2D and 3D CADD. Preparing equipment grounding and lighting drawings and grounding notes and details.Responsible for the transformer purchase order packages, which included preparing bid packages, evaluate bids, conducting pre-award and kick-off meetings. Reviewing vendor drawings and design, design coordination with other contractors and resolving design interface problems.
The above period was in Bechtel Power office, Gaithersburg, USA Responsible for the cable trays, conduits and ductbanks design using 2D and 3D CADD. Preparing equipment grounding and lighting drawings and grounding notes and details.Responsible for the transformer purchase order packages, which included preparing bid packages, evaluate bids, conducting pre-award and kick-off meetings.Responsible of evaluating steam generator bid package. Performed dc calculation for the plant.Reviewing vendor drawings and design, design coordination with other contractors and resolving design interface problems.
Participated in the following:· Design study and technical follow up for Cairo West 2 x 325 Mwe and Al Arish 2 x 30 Mwe power plants.· Different site activities.
