Project Accomplished: Designed 3 Phase 30 MVA Power Transformer.
During the internship I was introduced with different stages of power transformer manufacturing including
i. Winding production,
ii. Phasing,
iii. Assembling and Testing.
Learned about different types of winding, Phase Sequence, Oil Filling Technique, Core Cutting, Vapor Phase Drying, Routine Tests, Type Tests, and Special Test.
Tasks Accomplished: During internship we were orientated with Safety Orientation Conferences & Time Management
lectures, after that we studied Single Line Diagrams (SLD) of whole ICI electrical network, then our team of internees
surveyed the Gas Turbines in ICI, analyzed the troubleshooting scenario being performed on Medium Voltage
Switchgears, Power Centers, Motor Control Centers, Transformers, PLCs, etc. We were assigned to design and implement motor starting circuit (Direct-on-line starting, Star-delta starting, Auto Star-delta starting).
During this 4 year program. I was able to find my hidden capabilities and improved my technical, management, organizing, communication, team work and self learning skills. Now i am eager to work with a multinational organization to bring my knowledge in practical field.
2008 - 2010 Intermediate from Punjab College of Science Lahore.
I took part in different dramas during my study and enhanced my comparing skills.
