• Reviews daily logs and reports to detect recurring slowdowns or errors in information systems’ operations and initiate retrieval measures as required.
• Prepares and administers the IT division’s budget and related replacement and capital improvement programs.
• Maintains updated knowledge of industry standards, patterns, trends, principles, practices, and techniques in all aspects of information technology.
• Prepares / arranges preparation and submission of a variety of reports on equipment utilization, level of efficiency, standards of service to Management including recommended actions to improve service delivery and cost effectiveness.
• Proposes operating expenditure budget for IT and monitors utilization against approved budget.
• Monitors staff numbers and competency levels within IT, and initiates appropriate retrieval measures for efficiency.
