Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner. Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice. Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to immediate supervisor for appropriate action and discharge instruction to the contractor. Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring the same complies with contracts / QCS specifications, safety and health risk assessment and environmental mitigating measures respectively on a daily basis. Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required. Prepare Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site that are believed to have failed or if the contractor is not complying with verbal instructions and subsequently complete a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) if required in view of the development of events. Checking and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise. Monitor the contractor’s (ITP's) and quality plan(s) in regards to discipline related works. Inspect materials delivered and report on quantity and technical compliance.

Worked as Mechanical inspector on some iconic projects including the Presidential Palace, Louvre Museum, Centro Rotana Hotel & World largest waste water pumping station projects (Abu Dhabi Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Project) in Abu Dhabi. My primary responsibilities included site. Quality monitoring and to conduct inspection of all ongoing activities for mechanical site installation. Attending all mechanical inspection with client/contractor representatives. Checking that all drawing and documents used at site for approvals and compliance with project requirements. Ensure that all works are carried out as per approved method statement and drawing. Preparing weekly surveillance report, on conformance reports and verification of corrective action. Preparing daily QA/QC report regarding inspection, material, Non-conformance etc. Prepare remaining works prior to handover finishes. Preparing method statement and ITP in coordination with Project Engineers and Technical Manager. Preparation of the final handing over document such as O&M documents, Testing & Commissioning reports etc. Preparation of testing and commissioning method statement in coordination with vendors and project engineers. Coordinate with Civil QA/QC prior to handover MEP checklist. Prepare snagging for all mechanical services based on priority areas. Committed to HSE requirements and all applicable legislation and contractual requirement affecting the HSE activates at project site. Maintaining the LOG of all works done and not yet done by the constructions to avoid delays of submissions and keep the work schedule on time.
