• Leading the change management of the organization to empower the corporate governance of procurement all over the group.

• Forging the needed KPIs for the organization and setting-up the data warehousing and analysis needed to provide a full bird-view of the Procurement results to highlight the achievements and identify the areas of improvement.
• Working with various technology providers for the needed intelligent solutions; E-sourcing, SQM, Spend Analysis, and KPIs monitor and control.
• Led the procurement team in Siemens Mobility division, for both product and project businesses.
• PROJECTS’ NATURE: Rail Automation & Signaling Systems and Intelligent Traffic Systems.
• COMMODITIES INCLUDE: Power Supply System: (SG, transformers, generators, UPS, …etc.), Utility Connection, Building Civil and MEP works, trenching and cable laying, installation and integration, design consultancy, telecom system, cables and pipes.
• Handled project procurement in bidding and execution phases; starting from the opportunity identification and offering stages, throughout the execution till the project hand-over.
• Achieved remarkable savings utilizing the company’s electronic -online- auction tools.
• Led the procurement activities, guaranteeing the compliance to the relevant guide lines and regulations.
• Drafted volume forecasts and business plans, assuring a transparent communicated figures to the management.
• Worked seamlessly with a multinational team from different parts of the world; including coordinating tasks cross-functionally between procurement and other departments.
• Handled the procurement for MEP projects, including commodities like: Pumps, Chillers, Firefighting Systems, Fuel oil systems, Generators, Transformers, air conditioning…etc.
• Led a team of procurement engineers, working closely with suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce cost.
• Managed the coordination works with projects’ consultants for the approval of the technical submittals and drawings.
• Analyzed bill of quantities, conducted procurement plans and managed technical evaluation of suppliers’ offers.
• Led face-to-face negotiations, electronic bidding and auctions using in-house e-sourcing tools.
• Supervised the preparation and distribution of technical documents.
• Took the initiative to emphasize on early involvement: participation in the technical and financial final reviews in the bidding phase.
-Introducing Infra Structure & Cities Division, Sector Middle East to the various advanced negotiation concepts (ANC), including the electronic bidding techniques.
-Maintain Training Sessions for the Strategic Procurement Officers in Kuwait, Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and United Emirates, and supporting them in all the issues arise during the implementation processes.
-Ensure that Strategic Procurement Officers are being experts in their area, able to transfer knowledge to others.
-Forecasting and planning the future events, and track each topic individually.
-Reporting the results to the company head quarters.
Main Achievements:
-Succeeded in implementing the E-sourcing technique, which is one of the advanced negotiation concepts.
-Trained the whole team to develop the needed knowledge to use the different electronic e-sourcing platforms.
-Responsible for the system implementation and data migration.
-Represents the first level of support in the SAP Material Management Module for the Building Technologies division.
-Maintaining Export Control Regulations.
-Attending regular meetings for the improvement of the system performance.
-Issuing the reports needed by the management & related to our duties & responsibilities.
-Maintaining training sessions for new colleagues.
Main achievements:
-Managed the system migration to the SAP including the data migration, system customization, and the new process adjustments to suite the new system.
-Conducted many training sessions to the whole SIEMENS IC BT team, and gave full support to the system implementation, and contributed in solving a lot of conflicts arose in this phase.
-Maintained the adequate level of support to my Division, and helped in resolving a lot of technical issues during the “Go Live” phase.
