• Ensure that day-to-day lifting operations are monitored as per safety rules.
• Plan, organize, supervise, and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities.
• Perform routine on-site checks and inspections to ensure compliance with authorities requirements.
• Address concerns regarding the safety of any lifting operations
• Liaise closely with the HSE team to ensure operations comply with safety standards.
• Review Lifting plans, Method statements, Risk assessments, and Safe Work Procedures of all subcontractors for any lifting activities.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections on the work site to ensure compliance with authorities and client requirements.
• Daily walkabout around the sites assigned areas and note compliance and non-compliance to HSE operating procedure.
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of international legislation and inspection standards.
• Competent and experienced in writing procedures, standards, and work instructions.
• Provide lifting training and coaching.
• Participating in HAZID kick off meetings.
• Participating in incident investigation related to Lifting operations.
• Works in line with Company HSE Policy, ensures contractor subordinates are aware of, and comply with HSE procedures, rules, and regulations for lifting equipment.
• Assesses the crane requirements and the crane set up locations.
• Identify the crane lifting equipment requirements for the task.
• Create the necessary lifting plan (Simple / Complicated / Complex) and risk assessments for the job.
• Present the method statement to the plant operation for approval of the crane location.
• Check the ground condition, compare with outriggers pressure on it and determine the required outriggers mats.
• Familiar with all BS, BSEN, BSENISO, ISO, API, ASMI, DNV, LOLER, PUWER and lifting guidance.
• Plan and manage lifting operations and watch the operation to make sure it is carried out safely and correctly.
• Perform lifting Audit for Offshore and onshore Rigs to insure following HSE and lifting practice.
• Experienced in Preparing and delivering various presentations, courses pertaining to the lifting industry. (Basic Rigging & Slinging, Advanced Rigging & Slinging, Lifting Operation Supervisor, Appointed Person, Mobile Crane Operation, Offshore Crane Operator Stage 1& 2, Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3, Forklift Operator, EOTC Courses).
• Carry out six monthly LOLER SI 2307 Lifting Surveys at onshore and offshore locations on all Lifting appliances and Lifting Accessories and record them electronically.
• Testing and inspection of Offshore Pedestal Cranes, Mobile Cranes, Winches, Lifeboat Davits, Runway Beams, A-Frames.
• Works in line with Company HSE Policy, ensures contractor subordinates are aware of, and comply with HSE procedures, rules, and regulations for lifting equipment.
• Assesses the crane requirements and the crane set up locations.
• Identify the crane lifting equipment requirements for the task.

• Perform Preventive and corrective maintenance to overhead and gantry cranes including mechanical / Electric troubleshooting.
