• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance of all equipment, tools, buildings and installations in the factory.
• Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and repairing equipment.
• Installing, fitting and operating the new machinery, components and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspection of plant equipment, machinery, facilities and buildings so that
maintenance needs are anticipated and planned.
• Supervising the work and training of maintenance technical staff.
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance Budget.
• Maintaining statistical and financial records.
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
• Improving maintenance procedures and process.
• Managing stocks of spare parts and tools.
• Updating the data base on the ERP system and computer files regularly.

• Managing the essential daily procedures that need to be followed for the prevention of unplanned downtime
• Managing a system to identify the department needs from spare parts and other materials, ensure the availability of all spare parts by making tracking & consumption analysis system for it and coordinating with purchasing department.
• Executing the approved preventive maintenance plans to optimize equipment reliability, ensuring timely and efficient implementation of the plan.
• Following-up on the regular maintenance scheduled of production machines
• Assisting in the technicians training on the operation and maintenance
• Generating “Maintenance Daily Report” outlining analysis of response times, team’s productivity, spare parts consumption and recommend suggestions for improvement
• Ensuring the stability of the workflow in the factory and ensure the implementation of all maintenance programs.
• Prepare and supervise the installation of the new production lines.
• Participates in developing and reviewing maintenance and inspection plans by advising on
equipment availability for maintenance, taking into account maintenance priorities, operations
safety and production targets.
• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make
recommendations to maintenance crew.
• Assume full responsibility for examining maintenance spare parts and ensure compliance with
standard specifications.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
• Establish and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
• Develop the maintenance schedule and monitor its achievement ensuring that preventive and predictive maintenance best practices are applied.
