(1)Project: NEW DAR AL FOUAD HOSPITAL
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Prepare shop drawing of main substations of the hospital indicating the route and arrangement of all electrical equipment(main distribution panel boards, medium voltage switchgear, transformers, busway, cable trays, cable ladders) and the required calculations for these drawings like indicating size of cable ladders and trays considering the purchased material details design drawings details and specifications
• Review the MCC’s (Motor Control Centers) submittals according to HVAC and other mechanical requirements coordinated with BMS and fire alarm system.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure achievement all functions of above mentioned materials
• Issue requests for information& technical letters to the consultant.
• Attend progress meetings with consultant.
(2)Project: AS-Salam International Hospital -Refurbishment & Extensions Project
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Review the shop drawings of Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm, Public Address, IP Structured Cabling, IP Video Surveillance, Master Clock, TV and Satellite Reception systems prepared by contractor's consultant.
• Prepare shop drawings for equipment arrangement, cable trays including cable routings.
• Prepare builder work drawings compromising with site engineers for implementation the best and easier installation of for the outlets.
• Prepare coordination drawings for all electrical trades compromising with site engineers for implementation the best and easier installation for all systems considering civil and arch. Requirements.
• Review the manufacturer’s shop drawings for the power and control wiring diagrams related to the power equipment
• Coordinate with site engineers to compromise for implementation the best and easier installation of the utilities in the shop drawings.
• Issue requests for information& technical letters to the consultant.
• Prepare quantity survey for above mentioned systems.
• Attend progress meetings with project’s owner and consultant.
• Familiar with electrical standards/codes: IEC -NEC-Egyptian Code
(3)Project: Mivida Project-Infrastructure and substation buildings at New Cairo Roles and Responsibilities:
• Prepare a review for IFC drawing.
• Prepare shop drawings of low voltage network, medium voltage network, street lighting network, telecommunication network indicating the route of cables & conduits, cables trenches details, details of MDP& pillars& coffrees& RMU& transformers connections, prepare single line diagrams for the networks.
• Prepare the electrical shop drawings of ancillary buildings like distributor building and transformer buildings according to North Cairo for electrical distribution company considering the submitted manufactures’ data of equipment, showing cables routing and connections inside buildings.
• Prepare the coordination drawings indicating the levels and the exact location of road crossings, cables trenches, distribution pillars, manholes and lighting poles.
• Solve the technical problems and issue relevant field sketches.
• Issue requests for information& technical letters to the consultant.
• Make quantity take off for required material.
• Coordinate with site engineers to compromise for implementation the best and easier installation of the utilities in the shop drawings.
• Make voltage drop &short circuit calculations.
• Assist the preparation of equipment (Dry Transformers, Low Voltage Switchboards, Ring Main Units, Switchgear and Electric Cables).
• Review material submittal prior to submit to consultant.
• Attend progress meetings with project’s owner and consultant.
• Familiar with electrical standards/codes: IEC -NEC-Egyptian Code.
(4)Project: Up Town Cairo Project- Infrastructure and Service Buildings (Sewerage Pump Station, Water Pump Station and Electricity Substations)-at Al Mokattam
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Prepare shop drawings for low voltage network, medium voltage network, street lighting network, telecommunication network and detailing sketches indicating the route of cables and conduits, cables trenches details, details of MDP& pillars& coffrees & RMU& transformers & kiosks connections, prepare single line diagrams for the networks.
• Prepare the shop drawings of electrical and mechanical works for temporary water pump station& sewage pump station.
• Prepare the electrical shop drawings of transformer buildings according to South Cairo for electrical distribution company considering the submitted manufactures’ data of equipment, showing cables routing and connections inside buildings.
• Prepare the field sketches for coordination the electrical road crossings with other utilities.
• Make voltage drop &short circuit calculations.
• Issue requests for information& technical letters to the consultant.
• Solve the technical problems and issue relevant field sketches.
• Make quantity take off for some material required.
• Assist the preparation of equipment (Generator Sets, Kiosks, Oil Transformers, Low Voltage Switchboards, and Electric Cables).
• Review material submittal prior to submit to consultant.
• Make coordination between electrical cables and other utilities.
• Prepare as-built drawings for low voltage network, medium voltage network, street lighting network, telecommunication network& sewerage system, Irrigation system, water distribution system.
• Familiar with electrical standards/codes: IEC -NEC-Egyptian Code.
• Perform Complete Strategic Jobs \[Shop Drawings (SLD, Control Circuit and Front View), Schematic Diagrams, Network Studies (Short Circuit, Selectivity, Voltage Drop, etc), Bill of Materials\].
• Specify Electrical Products (Circuit Breakers-Fuses-Load Break switches-Contactors-Relays-Motor Soft Starters- PF Regulators- Capacitors-Transformers- Measurement Devices-Monitoring Devices-Cables-Busbars-Accessories) based upon Clients Specifications and according to many brands as ABB, Schneider, General Electric, Siemens, Entes, Socomec, Frako, El sewedy, Gave, El massala.
• Design Layout and prepare shop drawings for Free Standing & Wall Mounted Panels and all the Included Components, as Main Distribution Panels(MDP), Power and lighting panels, Distribution Pillars, Coffrees, Correction Power Factor Panels, Street& landscape lighting Cabinets, ATS panels, Synchronization panels, Motor Control Centers(MCC), DC panels.
• Prepare detailed Technical and Commercial Offer.
• Participate with others to communicate and clarify interfaces, requests, decisions, approvals, responses, etc.
• Guide Clients to the Optimum Design & Engineering Solutions.
• Present Short Circuit and Selectivity Reports for LV networks.
Project: The Central Egyptian Bank Club at New Cairo(Project consists of 7 buildings, playgrounds and pools. Electrical works for every building include power &lighting &low current &fire alarm &sound systems, also the electrical and telecom networks feeding these buildings):
• Revise shop drawings and field sketches to ensure that they are in accordance with the design drawings and specifications.
• Make quantity surveying for materials before requisitions.
• Plan, control and monitor the actual execution of all electrical related works of the project, to ensure that the project will be done in accordance with all the approved shop drawings, contract documents, specifications and all applicable standards.
• Solve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Assist the preparation of equipment and price schedules and estimate of cost.
• Supervision for materials’ (transformers, cables & Panels) factory tests before delivery according to specs and international standards.
• Prepare as-built drawings for all electrical works.
