1. Negotiates with Airline and Shipping lines management team to get the best rate;
2. Represents customers like Al Mana Fashion, Al Mana Luxury, Qatar Luxury, Azadea Group, GE Oil and Gas, Galaria La Fiat, and Schulmburge to name but a few, with their overseas suppliers in solving shipment issues.
3. Provides solutions on behalf of costumers concerning customs clearance or Qatar Aviation issues and personally resolves the cases on client’s behalf;
4. Visiting current and potential clients to build relationships and understand their key needs;
5. Manages multiple deliveries, process spot requests, and develop new sales strategies to improve business;
6. Provides clients with professional advice concerning terms of delivery and payment, services (air or transport), or other matters affecting client needs;
7. Ensures invoicing of rendered services is completed accurately and in a timeframe consistent with company policy;
8. Responsible in cargo insurance claims on behalf of clients;
9. Updates clients and counterparts on new customs regulations;
10. Prepares monthly management reports, annual department budget and sales forecast;
11. Conducts staff coaching, training, performance review, setting objectives and identifying staff requirements; and
12. Conducts disciplinary and grievance investigations within the team and takes appropriate action to address any failure.
