Coordinated inspection for civil works to client engineer on daily basis
• Responsible for Quality Management of the project ensuring compliance with specification codes ACI, AISC, ASTM, BSI and other relevant codes requirements specified on special conditions of contract.
• Monitor and evaluate contractor Quality policies in comparison with actual site work based on quality construction procedure.
• Review and check material submittal logs and status to verify compliance with approved vendors and suppliers, check data in accordance with requirements on installation and testing procedure stated on contract specification.
• Coordinate site related activities and act on technical inquiries to resolve issues with regards to deviations from approved construction drawings.
Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review and participate in the work of staff responsible for providing engineering services
In the design and management of projects.
Establish schedules and methods for providing engineering services; identify resources needs; review needs appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly.
Coordinate and prepare all project reports with regards to civil works, infrastructure, high rise, roads and other structures.
Inspect properties and materials for compliance with plans, specifications and codes.
Interact with contractors, engineers and architects and other engaged in projects regarding progress, scheduling, project problems, plan interpretation, specification interpretation, testing and field measurements.
Supervise specific activities of work and monitor the type, quality and proper execution of each person with their line of work.
Provide job assignments, number of workers needed to ensure that a certain scope of work would be completed as scheduled.
Prepare reports on evaluation of job accomplishments.
Maintain and establish good working attitude with the workers.
Perform supervisory function in monitoring the quality of work and execution of details as stated on the working drawings.
Prepare reports on the quantity of estimates and material take-off.
Provide survey control points for construction works.
Supervising and monitoring contractor’s performance, to ensure conformance to the design, international standards and specification.
