Responsibilities:
• Observe the working of all major machineries such as pneumatic and hydraulic systems, solenoid/pneumatic valves and auma actuators, positioners or flaps, checking and instillation of temperature transmitters such as PT100 (RTD's) and thermocouples, level indicators like ultrasonic, prosonic and gamma ray radiation system, speed sensor monitors for motors and belt transports, proximity and limit switches and identify the defects and shortcomings in the machine's performance, if any.
• Calibration checking of each machinery like Gas Analyzers (specially O2/CO and Nox Gas analyzers), pressure transmitters, cable and loop checking.
• Upgrade the older versions of the machinery to newer versions like analog transmitter to profibus system or digital system by replacing its existing components with improved ones for higher productivity and repair the defects in allotted time using system programs or diagrams to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with other sections like mechanical sections and machinery designers and help them to identify with common technical issues to minimize and solve effectively the common problems.
• Conduct daily routine inspections in the area of plant air compressors (Boge Compressors / KAESSER Compressor units), power station, water treatment systems, gas and oil station to ensure the instruments and other mechanisms are all working properly and report to the meeting if any unstable units.
• Discuss with the seniors or high ranks about the possible malfunctioning that may occur in operations and make efforts to eliminate that reason.
