• Review the Instruction to Tender (ITT) to ensure that the final bid is delivered efficiently.
• Conduct an overview of the contract to identify the potential Risk assessments and any aspects that are relevant to the cost estimation process.
• Manage the cost estimation process by reviewing the direct costs, calculating overhead and indirect cost, and creating a top sheet for each project.
• Follow-up with bid engineers to ensure compliance and responsiveness to all the project requirements.
• Directing bid engineers in developing and planning work sequences and reviewing the project schedule submitted by the Planning and Cost Control Department.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to gather the required information during the cost estimation process, including the Human Resources (HR) department to update salaries as part of indirect cost calculation, the Cost Planning and Control department to calculate cash flow, and the quality manager to provide an overview and a general check on the quality plan method statement, sequence of work, inspection test plan (ITP), etc.
