Participating in Facilities inspections and Audits.
•Maintenance of safety equipment such as Breathing Apparatus, Air loop System and Detection System.
•Participating in developing an Emergency Response Plan
•Regular inspections of all safety equipments in the work site.
•Gas Testing and Monitoring gas.
•Organizing all the safety equipments and inventory.
•Filing and retrieving documents, records and reports on rig and workshop.
•Preparing all the required safety reports for the client and the company.
•Preparing, calibrating, repairing and maintaining different safety equipments such as Gas Detection and Monitoring System, Breathing air Systems and Breathing Apparatus.
•Inspecting and function testing of all the safety equipments.
•Experienced and knowledgeable in Posi-Checking of breathing apparatus.
•Hydro-testing of breathing apparatus cylinders
Assigned duties as Safety Officer:
•Implementing the jobsite safety plans. Providing and conducting Health and Safety inductions and trainings. Regular inspections of all safety equipments in the work site. Organizing all the safety equipments and its inventories.
•Listening to directions and suggestions from supervisors or other employees regarding safe and proper work practices, evaluate that information and implement a plan based on that evaluation for carrying out the duties of this position.
•Understanding and responding appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices.
•Understanding and implementing lockout / tag-out procedures in a safe manner.
•Identifying workplace safety hazards and takes all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize them.
•Producing quality work, meeting requirements of company safety policies, procedures and industry standards.
•Filing and retrieving documents, records and reports on site.
•Preparing all the required reports of the client and the company.
•Providing safety program documentation, record keeping, document posting, permitting, and regulatory compliance documentation. Participate in site inspections and testing as necessary for required permits, including confined space, hot work, etc...
•Managing injuries to assure a high level of medical care and to minimize accident and lost time.
•Performing reviews and safety inspections of the jobsite
