I graduated cum laude and completed an undergraduate thesis about Islam in America with the honors college of my university. I also became TEFL certified through the university's program in Dresden, Germany. A General Studies degree is one that the student designs with the help of faculty. My program of studies included business classes, high levels of French, German, and basic Chinese and Arabic. I also studied comparative religions, Jewish Studies, and conflict management.
