Some imported projects I planned and implemented.

Data Ware House Infrastructure Migration
TTNET had I/O specific performance issues on DWH system. I analysed perf metrics with system and database team then decided to migrate legacy Oracle database infrastructure to appliance solutions. 3 different vendor solutions (Oracle Exadata, Teradata DWH Appliance, IBM Puredata Systems for Analytics) were examined. Teradata solution was decided to use after some PoC’s. I planned and implemented the Teradata appliance solution with Teradata HW operation team. Data migration from oracle to Teradata was done by development team of Teradata Company and TTNET DWH team

Bigdata Integration
BI department needed to analysis CDRs (Call Detail Record) of All members modem and adsl network traffic. They also wanted to rich this data with current CRM data by real time, We analysed bigdata solutions ( IBM PureData System for Hadoop, Teradata Bigdata Appliance, Oracle Bigdata Appliance, HP Vertica) We decided and implemented IBM solution for this project

Billing Systems Performance Enhancement
Billing Operation department had performance issue on current Billing Application and database layer. I analysed server, database and storage metrics with system operation team. I designed new application server infrastructure. We migrated application servers from unix platform to linux platform. We also migrate Oracle database data files disks to new storage machine to solve I/O bottlenecks. In addition some developments was done by billing developers on java layer. So we achieved 3 three-fold performance after this enhancement.

Unix Server Consolidation,
TTNET had 41 old Oracle SPARC machines. They would be end of support. We migrated all old machines to 5 new generation Oracle SPARC T5 Servers by using LDOM virtualization technology.

X86 Server Consolidation,
I planned migrating of old Windows and Linux physical machines to Vmware ESX and Microsoft Hyperv Virtualization platform. End of the project 80 percentage of server asset were virtualized
