• Plan and introduce efficient production methods to maximize the productivity.
• Ensure the production is running cost effective and feasible to the organization.
• Monitor the operations KPIs on a daily basis and supervise the shift leaders.
• Ensure that all the relevant standards, specifications and customer requirements are adhered to.
• Liaising among different departments, e.g. process engineering, quality, supply chain and ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between them.
• Ensure the continuous running of improvement workshops through different methods.
• Ensure that internal/external PPM figures are within targets and take actions.
• Set and manage production budgets.
• Ensure the implementation of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements in the segment.
• 5S Implementation and adherence.
• Selection of the right calibers and set training requirements & follow up that they are effective.
• Set target agreement to subordinates & quarterly review.
• Monitor scrap rate of the material used in production and take necessary actions to eliminate it.
•Monitor and manage machinery maintenance in liaison with technical service
• Monitor production processes; analyze product specification’s requirements &Proposes changes.
• Support Issuing the FMEA and minimizing the RPN numbers.
• Head Weekly/Monthly meetings with cross functional team to review internal/external figures.
• Ensure customer requirements are met.
• Issue / review the control plans.
• Investigating Root cause of the quality issues, using the global systematic approaches and as per customer requirements.
• Area release before start of production.
• Set internal and external (from other factories) PPM target and cascade it to the production groups.
• Set training requirements & follow up that they are effective.
• Handling customer’s audit and ISO/TS 16949 audits
• Set target agreements and Quarterly review.
• Improving the processes with the core team using Kata tool.
• Handling customers’ complaints related to crimping from all the customers (9 factories with different customers).
• Liaising material quality issues with the production and Quality Engineers.
• Perform supplier quality audits and management of the supplier corrective action process.
• Approving supplier’s PPAP and manages Supplier Change Requests.
• Manage inspection Team &developing of the inspection criteria.
• Manage non quality cost and responsible about cost of non-conformity with the supplier.
• Cover the GRI manager in case of delegation.
• Track supplier quality performance and measurements for suppliers (KPI’s)
• Handling quality complaints with the suppliers; and work with the suppliers on failure analysis, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions till closing the complaints
• Responsible about stock take activities as a delegate from the quality director.
• Handling Customer’s audit in the stores and GRI area.
• Participate in supplier performance reviews.
• Applying Makigami tool in GRI area.
- Preparing 8D reports.
- Finding the root cause of quality problems and PDCA coordinator.
- Preparing Production Part Approval Process "PPAP" Documents
- Preparing a Supplier Problem Quality Report "SPQR".
- FMEA & control plan responsible .
