Technical Support Specialist Energy - Energy Products - Powerwalls & Powerpacks (UK & EU)
Technical lead assisting US engineering teams, UK & EU regional account managers, business operations, business partners and customer support teams for maintaining existing powerwall fleet and deploying new installations.
Provide cross-product technical deep-dive expertise resolving product, configuration, and application issues for the Tesla's Energy products. Coding and testing for changes and fixes, disseminate appropriate information necessary to US engineering teams to correct configuration issues.
Troubleshoot and identify product problems involving all aspects of the Tesla’s Energy solutions including user interface, network and communication connectivity and performance, visualization, analytics, control systems, hardware infrastructure, and interfaces to enterprise systems.
Assist in developing automated methods and mechanisms to monitor and track the health and accuracy of regional Energy application deployments.
Identifying patterns and root cause of cross-product support issues.
Engage with clients and business partners on day to day operations, organize and lead weekly calls with US engineering team and management providing fleet performance and issues.
Analyze within the group the tools, methods and competencies and propose all necessary improvements and changes. Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Quickbase & Toolbox.
Providing support to installers, technical expertise to Field Service Engineers by trouble shooting and doing necessary follow-up.
Team member in commissioning Powerpack 1.5 in Lucerne, Switzerland providing on-gird service.
Research in the field of Hydrogen Technologies & Infrastructures:
Analysis of the technological development prospects.
Techno-Economic analyses for economic efficiency considerations.
Evaluation of the environmental impact using Life Cycle Assessment.
Proposing and modeling of hydrogen technology & infrastructures using software to authenticate their viability
in terms of performance and costs.
- Automation of Saudi Aramco's bulk plants through programmable logic controllers, emergency shutdown systems, supervisory control & data acquisition systems and human machine interface.
- Hardware Design
- Supervision of technical crew during fiber optic installations and hardware fabrication of panels.
- Providing technical support to the sales department for technical proposals, engineering & cost estimates.
- Project management activities include developing activity schedule, team schedule, resource management, initial budget / target estimate for various projects, upgrades followed by detailed pricing & risk analysis. Managing and interpreting projects requirements.
- Site visits to clarify the scope of work and quoting the solution.
- Propose and agree commissioning deliverable and be responsible for ensuring those deliverable are completed.
- Coordination with various departments to ensure compliance to the bidding requirements.
- Responsible for order execution and continuous follow ups with relevant internal departments for in time delivery.
