• Conducts research, data collection, analysis and verification to support of management reviews on job classifications and design.
• Reviews Job descriptions and draft a complete submission for approval.
• Maps new, or amends existing posts titles and grades, occupational and organizational units titles and locations in system
• Reviews Requests for Post Actions and follows up to ensure that due actions are taken in the system in line with the approved decisions;
• Updates Organization Design and Classification Section’s site and internal archiving system (electronic and physical files); uploads.
• Updates the work plan including the priority list of the section work regularly, and follows up on pending issues bringing deadlines to the attention of the respective staff member;
• Prepares annual and regular statistics and reports;
• Creates & Updates organizational charts.
• Organises the recruitment of staff, coordinating interviews, checking references.
• Drafts contracts and manage all the procedures of the new staff.
• Delivery of HR induction module to new starters.
• Provides administration support to the HR Manager in all HR related matters;
• Manages and follow up records for payroll;
• Updates and reflect any changes in posts in the system.
• Drafts letters and salary certificates
• Processes termination procedures
• Issues annual certificates for acknowledged staff
• Interest the required data on SAP (system)
• Carries out all the Leaves types for all UNRWA staff (7000 staff)
• Performs all the needed deductions and payments related to leaves
• Collects and following out all the attendance sheets from all the areas.
• Manages the filing system for the leave section pare work.
• Performs correspondences in this regard.
• Drafts policies and other relevant documentation.
• Carries out the performance system & procedures for the staff.
• Delivers training to employees on a regular basis - e.g. induction training; ethical training, on the job training.
• Supports people managers & payroll activities including salary benchmarking and the bonus process
• Administers payroll/deductions for staff.
• Coordinates recruitment and selection procedures & delivers induction training;
• Drafts job descriptions;
