Supervise and assign activities to Inspection engineers (Field Inspector and NDT Technicians). • Mentor and train the local inspection engineers and ensure their progression. • Conduct internal and external planned and unplanned inspection of all equipment’s. • Periodical inspection of Platform structures (Jacket), Well head piping system and static equipment’s (Pressure Vessel, Separator, Drum, Tank, Filter’s, Heater Treater, Slug catcher). • Coordinate with NDT group to access the equipment condition. • Monitor the repairs as per company and international standards for their final acceptance. • Issue equipment’s final inspection report documenting all the findings, NDT results, repairs, testing and recommendations for future use and reference. • Maintain inspection files, records and keep them up to date. • Periodically review the data base information and ensure that appropriate repairs and replacements to the equipment’s are recommended. • Prepare job list for shutdown testing and inspection (T&I) requirement for all equipment’s and piping circuits and participates to finalize the T&I scope of work. • Anticipate equipment and piping retirement and initiate appropriate steps with required recommendations to address best practice repairs. • Retirement calculation, corrosion rate calculation, remaining service life calculation and advising for any repair, replacement and rotating requirement. • Quality inspection of new platform installation, commissioning, start up through EPIC contractor, revamping and modifications of existing platform and structures. • Issue inspection work sheet for any findings in the assigned area and follow up with execution. • Participate final walkthrough for new projects and provide exemption items. • Participate technical meeting with Operations and maintenance Engineers for Asset integrity management issues and development. • Implement the Quality Management and Corrosion Management system. • Responsible for co-ordination for field engineering activities with Planning, Operation, Construction, Project Department where areas interface or overlap.
