• Collaborate with other functions i.e. Quality & Food Safety, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics and Commercial, to ensure consistent product quality, safety, productivity and reliability.
• Set and agree on annual CAPEX with involved departments.
• Monitor and control OPEX to meet the targets.
• Achieve 98% adherence and 68% OEE for assigned lines.
• Monitor and control line’s waste to achieve 1.9% and 0.5% MUV.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Monitor and control production parameters to meet 95% of Know-how audits.
• Report to Production manager and supervise junior engineers.
• Follow up autonomous maintenance activities and communicate with involved departments for best added value.
• Participate in conducting trial and industrial tests of new types of packaging materials, raw materials and finished products.
• Assess manufacturing operations staffing and skill requirements. Develop plans to address needs.
• Lead the Shift to manufacture the planned volumes and driving day-to-day Cell (Processing Area) operational performance, including KPIs for Safety and Quality.
• Implementation of the weekly production plan.
• Overcoming production related problems, material shortages, equipment malfunctions and other avoidable delays where possible and plan to reduce their impact on the operation.
• Prepare all production reports and follow the production KPIs with clear action plans.
• Work on reducing machine stoppage due to any process issues.
• Ensure the implementation of all Food Safety, GMP’s and HACCP processes and procedures in the day to day operations.
• Ensure all quality parameters are met, and that out of specification is analyzed and reduced by addressing root cause.
• Interacting among different departments e.g. the day to day maintenance, quality, safety, planning and administration.
• Enforce the use of all safety procedures to reduce accidents and incidents to an absolute minimum by developing work procedures that adhere to safety and environmental cleanliness principles.

Lead the shift in order to achieve production plan, and assure the compliance
of the daily floor activities to the company’s certified systems.
Ensure planned KPI'S of efficiency and performance are met or exceed
overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule.
Coordinate with other departments to overcome the abnormalities on
production line.
Coordinates production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies, systems and processes
Working out the human and material resources needed.
Ensure prescribed line Preventive Maintenance is completed timely.
Ensure complete compliance to prescribed QMS and 5S processes.
Assess manufacturing operations staffing and skill requirements. Develop
plans to address needs.
Take charge of related quality control responsibilities by following up the product audit activities and product sorting actions including inspecting products for shape, geometry and casting defects as requested by the customer, final inspection and packing activities.
Monitoring fettling process and reviewing chemical and mechanical tests reports.
Develop statistics by calculating the percentage of defected products record
inspection data (i.e. cast codes, type, model, percent of defects, and amount of required rework in order to make the proper analysis.
Participating in new projects managements by determining project specifications studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards completing technical studies and preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions
Reporting regularly on progress to the client or to senior manager
Participating in lean manufacturing projects for re-engineering current manufacturing processes and Facility Layout Improvements following lean methodology
Develop and implement a quality assurance program/plan for the project based on
ISO 9001& ISO 16949.
Prepare quality assurance internal and external audit agenda and participate in
Audits.
Releasing the auditing notes and distributes it to departments and sections and
Follow it up.
Following up the sample making activities and collecting all the related reports.
Assure timely and effective implementation of the production control plan.
Receiving the corrective/preventive action requests and follows it up
