Data warehousing and OLAP expert in developing and supporting ClientMetrics database, a data warehouse used to store end of day Trading Equity and Debt transactions from multiple legal entities for multiple global regions.
Developed and implemented ‘Client Service Workstation Management Information (CSWMI)’, a statistical reporting tool built using SQL Server 2000/2005 Analysis manager and Microsoft Pivot table OWC to provide metrics for settled, failed and reclaimed trades. Converting ‘Client Metrics Workstation database (CMR)’ storing affirmations, allocations, corrections and volumes trade data to a cube based data warehouse to enable efficient summary analysis.
Designed the entire database schema and Data Warehouse infrastructure.
Created fact tables to provide metrics for Failed and Settled Debt, Equity and Equity Bond Trade Counts based on settlement dates, Settlement Remaining Money amounts and quantities. Developed cube Dimensions like Market, Product, Legal entity, Settlement Location etc. for multidimensional statistical analysis.
Developed and tested Triggers, views and stored procedures and user-defined functions
Created scheduled DTS jobs for data extraction and cube processing.
Created and tested Microsoft OFFICE Web Pivot Table Reports that access OLAP cubes. Developed template Excel reports to allow users to analyze data directly accessing SQL server Views. Deployed the data marts to the production environment.
Granted database users and cube users appropriate permissions on database objects and enforced cube security.
Optimized the OLAP cubes for maximum performance by designing with maximum aggregations and minimal storage and creating appropriate indexes on fact tables and dimensions.
Designed and developed applications using ASP classic
