I am in charge of managing several hundred at-risk students with GPAs below 2.00 as well as disabled/special needs students by providing academic advising, guidance, support and accommodations. I also liaise with faculty and university administration to plan student-centric and university-wide events and campaigns as well as communicate/interact directly with students, parents, faculty and staff alike.
As a freelancer for a locally-based marketing and public relations firm, I am handling multiple local and international accounts for various/prominent clients by providing written work, creative advice, constructive criticism and managing social media accounts.
My position as assistant buyer sees me primarily tasked with raising, cancelling and amending footwear orders for the Milano and Foot Locker brands; this entails direct interaction with international suppliers. I also compile weekly reports, maintain vital inventory and online information, conduct research and study market trends for the latest styles, organize material and footwear samples.
Gallery Tilal is a Kuwaiti art gallery that opened to the public in October 2010. It primarily showcases art by Kuwaiti artists, with a lesser emphasis on art created by artists from Middle Eastern countries and the international community.
My position as assistant trainee saw me assisting at gallery launches and exhibition openings, interacting directly with visitors and clients, composing written work for all print-related materials, designing website content and all other graphic design-related elements for the gallery, liaising with international artists and galleries and organizing upcoming events.

I am a candidate for a Master of Fine Arts degree in Art & Humanities at the University of Dundee. This interdisciplinary program combines elements of studio-based practical art and creative practice with courses and modules from the School of Humanities, with options ranging from Comics and Theatre Studies to Political Science and English Literature, with my work focusing on exploring mind-altered states and perception in the greater sphere of tension between control and release.
I have received a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design with a minor in communication and media studies, graduating with a cumulative GPA of 3.12 in June 2011.
