- Projects Management:
Responsible for execution of regional expansion plan within MENA region. Main tasks include design of facility & process flow, selection of production lines and equipment’s and coordination with construction providers for successful completion of the project.
- Operations Management:
o Coordinate with Production and Supply Chain Managers for proper execution of Sales Forecast. Ensure daily orders are produced and delivered as per customer’s requirements.
o Initiate supplier management program for all raw materials of fresh produce which are used inside the factory, thus secure all daily requirements through fixed annual prices and forecasted weekly consumption.
o Follow up with maintenance team on preventative maintenance plan and ensure proper corrective measure are put in place for any arise NCR’s.
o Leading efficiency driven projects i.e. outsourcing fleet, installation of solar system and energy optimisation project.
- Customer Support:
o Attend customer’s meetings, audits and support on NPD’s.
o Conduct training sessions for end customers on best produce handling practices.
- P&L Review:
o Review weekly financial reports and make sure proper measures are put in place to maintain actual cost within the limits of annual plan.
o Attend monthly YTD & YTG financial results and coordinate with commercial team on action plan to achieve periodical and annual plan.
- Production Planning:
o Monitoring processes and identifying deviations towards ensuring manufacture of products meeting predetermined specification and quality attributes.
Imparting training to workforce to escalate their productivity and operational efficiencies.
o Coordinate with maintenance team on preventive maintenance and instrumental process control.
o Review weekly sales forecast and daily production orders and plan manpower needed to produce daily volume accordingly.
o Run weekly raw material requirement plan and coordinate with supply chain team on delivery schedule.
- New Product Development:
Coordinate with sales and marketing team to develop new product range and/or extend existing product range. Thus, ensure new products are lunched to the market are meeting predefined quality.
- Process Optimisation and Automation:
o Develop DelMonte’s production process by the mean of adapting new technologies and process line.
o Design and deploy new production tools to increase the efficiency
of production and attend customer’s requirements.
- Production Reports:
o Review daily yield and productivity reports and investigate in case
of any deviation from the pre-set target.
o Prepare annual operating plan for production department and
submit for management review.
- Quality Management System:
o HACCP System revision, modification and implementation.
o Conduct internal and external quality, health and safety audits to Del Monte facilities including accommodations
o Attend all regulatory meeting, visits and responsible to present Del Monte in front of all legal bodies from quality, safety and environment point of view.
o Manage ISO22000 implementation team and ensure all prerequisite measure are put on place to achieve best rating.
- Regional Management of Prepared Range:
Manage the supply of Del Monte’s prepared range throughout MENA region by the mean of supplier selection, facility auditing and product inspection and approval.
- Implementation of Health and Safety Practices:
o Prepare and conduct emergency evacuation plans including
firefighting, chemical spillages, ammonia leakage...etc.
o Investigation and report all incident and accident related to staff and company assets and provide corrective action plans to reduce associated risks accordingly.
o Coordinate with HR all occupational health related issues and arrange for annual renewal of health cards for all staff.
- Quality Inspection Process:
o Define sampling size and analysis criteria of the raw materials &
finished goods, ensuring problem-free operations
o Strategically analysed the processes for product development within the quality parameters while working with the product development team.
- Responsible of all Quality Control activities to ensure plant produces Pepsi products consistently and complies with local regulation and meets PepsiCo quality standard.
- Performance Development Reviews and development plans for QC personnel.
- Supplier assessment/evaluation to maintain mutually beneficial supplier relationship.
- Implementation of an independent audit system to determine whether activities and related results conform to the planned performance.
- Measurement and monitoring of HACCP System performance through Custom Internal Audits and Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Implement M&W (Manufacturing and Warehousing) stage 1A KPI and delegate all measures and its calculations.
- Review and analyse Pepsi Cola quality monthly reports and follow up with appropriate resources to set the objectives and action plans.
- Supervise the production of quality product through continual monitoring of the production lines.
- Direct and train all quality personnel on proper hygiene & safety procedures and regulation.
- Planning of external supplier audits in accordance with PepsiCo International Standards.
- Compiling audit reports for submission to QC manager / suppliers upon completion of audits
- Provide assistance to QC manager / suppliers on the implementation of quality management system.
- Follow up on implementation of corrective action plans against any raised non-conformance.
