Heading Operations of one major product line which contributes more than 50% of business value, with a target business growth of 25%. Aligning the long term strategies with tactical and operational strategies, implement them throughout operations also upgrading the technology system to optimize the existing processes.
Also leading the overall plant continual improvement activities as KPO. Analysing existing systems and processes, identifying the improvement areas, then plan and conduct Kaizen events.
Responsibilities -
1. Heading the overall manufacturing activities on one major business line - improve on smooth flow of work with a focus on SQDCP.
2. Drive the lean methodology in the plant, identify gap areas, plan and execute the actions to fill those gaps.
3. On time deliveries - ensure the adherence to monthly plan and Exceed the customer delivery targets.
4. Continual Improvement (Focused Improvement) - identify the gaps based of GD, VSM then plan and conduct Kaizen events to fill those gaps.
5. Leadership development - To improve on lean maturity matrix & team skill level, conducting regular trainings on Lean & Lean Tools, problem solving tools etc.
6. Maintain and improve on positive and healthy culture within the team to get the better results..

As a core team member I worked from starting of project to till establishment &Continuously exceeded the departmental stretch targets, developed 25 % more parts than target & in tooling management & Vendor development also achieved 20% cost reduction than target. Team building, managing tool room & vendor development activities in remote area was major challenge.
