1. Processing requests conducting procurement

Project Manager

Location : United States
Support Responsible of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on multiple projects and coordinate with USAID disaster relief field officers to distribute humanitarian relief goods:
I - Expedited shipment to Lima, Peru after the August 2007 earthquake
II - September 2007: After a series of hurricanes damaging the coastal lines of the Caribbean islands, Jamaica, and Dominican Republic
III - September - October 2007: Stationed on the ground in Entebbe, Uganda for three weeks to oversee one of the largest operations for USAID which consisted of chartering 22 cargo planes loaded with more than 320 metric tons of humanitarian relief goods from Italy, Dubai (UAE), and India to Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo where I spent another two weeks distributing food & non-food items for the benefit of the displaced people of the region in collaboration with UNICEF & World Food Program.
IV - January 2008: 100 MW Power Plant Project, Kabul, Afghanistan
The project consists of shipping 18 - diesel generators and its accessories from Germany, Mexico and Dubai to Kabul via Karachi, Pakistan. Working on this project included: chartering dry cargo vessels, knowledge of port facilities and charter party, preparing voyage instructions, verifying pro-forma charter party prior to final signature, and keeping up with weather forecast to insure accurate timeline delivery.
