• Nursing care is provided in a home based setting.

Assigned in a BPO company in the Philippines and caters to the medical needs of all the employees visiting the clinic. Provides medication appropriate to their symptoms and refers patients to the clinic physician for consultations. Provides first aid treatment and transfers patients to the nearest Emergency Room for those that needs to be manage immediately.
• Assigned in Female Surgical Ward as a staff nurse and charge nurse, that caters female patients from ages 15 and above for Surgical and Obstetrics-Gynecology care. Admits patients for observation, treatment and surgical procedures, assesses patients seeking medical attention by obtaining past and present medical history.
• Assists physicians in doing their unit rounds, implementing doctor’s orders, administers medicines as ordered. Collecting specimens for investigations. Relaying results to the physicians. Coordinating with other healthcare providers for continuity of care. Providing health instructions to the patients most especially the one who is for discharge.
• As a charge nurse, I am assigned for all the patients admitted for the whole eight hour shift, allocating the patients to my colleagues for continuity of care.
• Assigned in a BPO company, SYKES ASIA.
• Assesses employees that visited the clinics and provides direct care to those with occupational and non-occupational illnesses.
• Provided medicines to employees according to their symptoms.
• Refers patients to the Physician-on-Duty for further assessment, evaluation and management.
• Administers first aid treatments to employees.
• Monitor and record the patient’s condition.
• Assists all injured employees or those employees that needed urgent management to be transferred to Emergency room of the nearest hospital.
• Maintain all employees medical and other similar records.
• Secure and ensure that the sick employees submit “Fit to work” certificate.
• Performed duties as a staff nurse in 125-bed capacity hospital, assigned in a station that has a 32-bed capacity, that caters different kinds of patients from medical-surgical, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric, post-intensive care unit, clients for chemotherapeutic consultation and for executive medical check-up.
• Worked as a charge nurse or medication nurse depending on the schedule, in charge of all patients admitted in the station, being knowledgeable on the status of all the patients, accompanied the attending physicians during rounds for any questions regarding the status of their patients.
• Monitor vital signs especially for the critical cases, admits patients or transferring in or out from operating room and other stations. Carried out physician’s order, informed other members of the health care team regarding the order and informed the physician regarding the medical status of the patient. Suctioned secretions, monitored blood glucose, administered oxygen inhalation per doctor’s order, monitored neurological vital signs, and administering peritoneal dialysis on the nephrology patients, assisted physician while doing thoracentesis and paracentesis.
• Prepares and administer medicines to patients at prescribed time, discontinue intravenous infusion as ordered, initiate blood transfusions, administer cystoclysis for urologic patients, nebulize patients at prescribed time, administering enema for patients for surgery and providing health teachings to patients most especially for patients for discharge.
