PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
A seasoned professional, with mechanical trade apprenticeship background, having extensive experience both UK and overseas covering consultant and contractor roles related to all facets of pre and post-contract quantity surveying / commercial management / contract management and administration along with role of post-contract site-based supervision consultant Project Manager.
Multi-million dollar projects range across public and private sector including extensive oi, gas and heavy engineering undertakings in addition to traditional building and civil engineering projects for government, and commercial developments, infrastructure roads / drainage projects, airports and water projects.
Experience covers all pre-contract activities from project concept feasibility, through design, front end engineering, tendering up to contract negotiation / award with a strong emphasis on all aspects of post contract duties in the role of supervision consultant, as well as contractor representation, up until final project hand-over and close-out.
High level of contractual awareness on all major Contract Procurement standard and bespoke forms and arrangements including in particular FIDIC. All procurement methods from Design and Build (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), Employer Design, Re=measurable, Cost-Plus, Target Cost and Term Maintenance Contracts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills along with ability to manage multi-cultural teams of staff whilst reporting from individual project management level through to corporate directors, chief executive officers and high-profile prestigious clients.
