Major Duties & Responsibilities
 Designing, Implementing, maintaining and administering local, wide area and VSAT networks.
 Configuring DMZ (redundant firewalls, ACS server, load balancer and switches), routers, core switches and access switches;
 Maintain, monitor, and administer server and data center infrastructure.
 Installing, configuring and administering windows server 2003/2008/2012/R2, oracle virtualBox, VMware and Hyper-v.
 Installing and Administering Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2013.
 Managing call center system (PBX, TVM, IVR, CRM server, Optimus server and CSAT server)
 Maintain IP Addressing system for WAN as per network policy
 Implementing, monitoring and maintaining network topologies and network usage of Authority Monitor all WAN links. And Communicating with ISP (Ethio-telecom) on Network Issues, WAN links & equipments.
 installing, supporting and maintaining new server hardware and software infrastructure;
 Preparing and evaluating technical specifications of server, switch, router, printer, AC, UPS, network cables, LCD projector and IT related infrastructures.
 Managing WAN through tools like Network Management System, managing email, anti-spam and anti-virus installation and management.
 setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords;
 Installing, configuring, managing and maintaining NetApp and HP storages.
 Coordinating 1 5 network Engineers.
 Preparing training modules and providing training for IT engineers and IT users.
 Managing security for WAN links & equipment and various tools used for managing WAN and its equipment by appropriate use of security features like VPN, passwords and other mechanisms as applicable

Major Duties & Responsibilities
 Planning, executing and reporting Network section tasks
 Leading, coordinating Network section employees and evaluating their performance.
 Interfacing with third parties (like Ethio-telecom, devices and service suppliers) regarding Zemen Bank networks
 Designing and implementing new as well as enhancing existing network infrastructures of head quarter, DR and branches.
 Monitoring, administering and maintaining headquarter, Disaster Recovery site and branches LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless and VSAT networks with effective follow up.
 Establishing, monitoring and maintaining VPN connections to Zemen Bank from remote locations and authorized partners.
 Configuring and administering Zemen bank Network devices (like firewalls, IPS, authentication devices, Core Switches, distribution and access layer devices).
 Analyzing, resolving and reporting security breaches and vulnerability on time.
 Deploying, administering and operating internal and external (Internet) Firewalls, IPs, DMZ infrastructures with redundant facility to protect and prevent Zemen Bank enterprise network Infrastructures and resources from external threats; e.g. placing rule based policies.
 Remediating quarterly Network infrastructure gaps based on Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Communicating with ControlCase team on these issues.
 Planning and coordinating staffs and third parties for annual network preventive Maintenance.
 Administer and Monitoring data center infrastructures healthy for proactive solution.
 Participating on decision making and execution for different IT projects
 Preparing and updating policy, procedure, standard documents and network designs accordingly.
 Assigning and coordinating staffs to resolve any head office and branch network failures and facilitating resources coordinating with Logistics department.
 Administering and operating network-monitoring tools to measure service performance and.ensure adequate service.
 Preparing and evaluating technical specifications of IT infrastructures.
 Preparing training modules on updated technologies to provide training for IT engineers and IT users.
 Working as DRP and BCP committee member and any other works as bank requires.
