Overseeing the logistics of all the rooms related areas, including arrival, chick in, room quality and service, room related services, communications, and the departure process

To take the necessary action to maximise rooms revenue by increasing occupancy and average room rate, in order to exceed budget. Supports Food & Beverage Department in promotions to increase revenues in these departments via direct selling by Rooms Division staff
Make sure discounts, complimentary, upgrading are administered and approved according to the internal policy.
Assists the Management in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, replacements and investments planning.
Execution of regular technical/skills training. Is responsible for setting up and maintaining ongoing training programs in the Rooms Division in conjunction with the Personnel & Training Manager
Review Duty Manager/Night Manager book daily and take corrective action when necessary. Also review switchboard logbook daily.
Maintains a monthly overview of vacation- and public holiday balance of all staff and delivers a monthly consolidated summary to the Personnel Manager.
Training the front office team on regular basis.
Creating room’s configuration, market segmentation, market codes, rates codes etc. within the computer system.
Ensuring that yield management techniques of availability control are being applied to achieve the maximum room sales and revenue maximizing the hotel occupancy and room rate at all times.
Marinating a high standard of preparation and customer service within the front office department.
Responsible for a sufficient staffing and control of payroll costs at all times.
