I have extensive experience in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, cognitive application of biomechanics, various orthodontic therapy techniques “including lingual orthodontics”, functional orthopedics, orthodontic therapy of congenital defects, including those encountered in cleft lip and palate and hemifacial microsomia patients, orthognathic surgical cases, including severe class II, severe class III, and open bite cases, implants in orthodontic therapy, and the innovative applications of distraction osteogenesis.
I received Joseph E. Johnson Award in the 100th Annual Session of the American Association of Orthodontists, which was held in Chicago between April 28 - May 3, 2000. This award is given by the Council of Scientific Affairs at the American Association of Orthodontists for excellence in clinical orthodontics.
