As a language and cross cultural faciltator, I worked to develop basic communication skills among peace corps trainees drring an intensive 10-week training program. I worked closesly with a small group of six trainees where I conducted language and culture training classes using the Peace Corps competency-based curriculum framework. I also provided the trainees with guidance, provided interpretation and translator, when needed, and served as a model and moral support in order to ensure their success in the training program. I was also responsible for ensuring safety and security of the six trainees during the CBT in co-operation with the local authorities
