Recently worked with HYDER Middle East as a Deputy Project Manager on one of the most challenging project in Makkah “Construction of Strategic steel reservoirs to National Water Company NWC Client whose aim to streamline and improve water and sanitation system in Makkah and Taif Cities.

Responsibilities were to administer all construction works, heading the project team, assist in preparation of staffing plan with mobilization, demobilization and leave replacement of team, ensure proper deployment of resources, establishing performance criteria to all staff, deal all contractual issues, assist in developing project management plan, quality and safety management plan, developing strategies to organize quality system procedures and follow up auditing process, its recommendation and improvement, dealing with client, organizing works at site, monitoring progress of works, as per the approved schedule, involve in correspondences with contractors and clients., improvising innovative ideas in dealing with issues, maintaining project safety, quality as per client’s needs.

Administered as a Resident Engineer to a very large scale Riyadh MOH project, which comprised of a huge mixed use development of infra-structure and landscaping. The works were to develop roads, sewage and storm drainage, sub stations, water tanks and water supply networks, culverts, pump stations, lift stations and sewage treatment plants, associated buildings.

My role was to assist in delivering facilities to the required quality, schedule, budget, sustainability, legacy and other requirements of the program. Participate in meetings, preparing agenda and minutes, assist in preparation of staffing plan, establishing performance criteria, ensure its deployment and effective utilization of staff, prepare monthly reporting system with area of concern and proposed solutions, monitoring site activities as per the approved baseline program, help the team in reviewing all technical submittals by arranging working groups for addressing technical issues, Develop and administer project budget, value engineering, control management. Foresee variation orders, involve in the process of Procurement process, contractual agreements with sub-contractors, purchase orders, change orders. Certify of contractor’s claims and interim certificates, assist in developing quality system procedures and auditing process to ensure recommendation for improvement. Monitoring testing and commissioning procedures, handing over process and close out reports with project asset register. Actively encourage team to participate in lessons learned on project, problems arise, and its explanation for future recommended solutions.

Some of the duties and responsibilities were to
• Liaison with the executives & technical teams to ensure overall direction and integrity of the project by effective communication, convene and lead progress meetings with all technical staff and implementing new policies.
• Dynamic and aggressive in meeting tight project schedules and capable of plant and motivate large workforce efficiently.
• Effective carry out of project risk and its proper management.
• Communicate project status to project sponsor, all team members, stakeholders and involved parties.
• Contribute in addressing key issues, involve in local authority regulation approvals, liaison with consultants in project handing over process for administrative building zones, associated in logistics, interface management, business process efficiency, HSSE, sustainability, legacy, and other areas affecting program delivery.
• Liaise with the delivering parties and all affected stakeholders to assure that the facilities are being delivered to the quality, schedule, budget, and other requirements of the program.

E.K. Kanoo group, (Bahrain)

Worked as a Client Representative with E.K.Kanoo group and played a very prominent PROJECT MANAGERIAL role in execution of some landmark projects.
Some of the achievements that appreciated my work were
• Multistoried buildings, automotive showrooms, mosque and community hall at zayed town.
• Key responsibilities undertaken projects were drafting the contract agreement compile the entire contract documentation using FIDIC RULES seek legal advice and award the contract etc.
• Reviewing the project schedules for adequacy with respect to delivery milestones, level of detail, WBS, logic, duration, and resources. Communicate with others in an effective and respectful manner.
• Chair weekly progress meetings with consultants and contractors during project execution, awarding and subletting works as per the site requirements, resolving contractor's disputes contractually and conflicts among contractor & client agencies.

Ws Atkins and Partners Overseas (Dubai Head Office)
Worked as an Assistant to Resident Engineer in WS ATKINS & Partners Overseas Dubai
Working with WS Atkins was one of the finest and handpicked experiences.
Whilst some of the duties undertaken from pre contract tender stage to post contract stage were
• Assisting resident engineer in managing contract budgets and preparation of budget forecasts for management review, managing in expenditure of miscellaneous amounts and client's prime cost items.
• Analyze the contracts for content, clauses and definition of contractual matters at the initial stages of the project
• Regular correspondence with client and contractor for pre and post tender projects contractually.
• Involved in the contractor regular site inspections, review of shop drawings, contractors material submittals, issuing NCR, responding to RFI's, site instructions.
• Review and certify contractors regular interim payments and variation orders.
• Review contracts and agreements for appropriate contracting strategy and administrative enforceability.
• Evaluate design documents to assess sufficiency for construction purposes.
• Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project.

Worked as an assistant to resident engineer for the following projects
• Jumeirah beach 134 Villas housing for Ruler's Court.
• Oud Al Muteena 110 Villas housing for Ruler's Court.
Some of the responsibilities were to
• Evaluate design documents to assess sufficiency for construction purposes.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Develop and maintain quality design threshold for the execution process through use of understandable quality procedures.
• Visit work sites, observe events and site situations affecting program performance and prepare reports of observations and findings and its remedial measures.

Khansaheb Civil engineering infrastructure (DUBAI)
Being a startup I have worked as a Civil Engineer in some of the milestone projects of Dubai.
• DUBAI INVESTMENT PARK phase-1 of major earth and road work project for Dubai Investments
• Bridges and Flyover project at sheikh zayed road.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS:-

• Fully conversant in all forms of FIDIC and other contract documentation and project management methods like PMBoK & Prince2 Procedures.
