I am working on client side Project as an Oracle DBA (Resident Engineer).
Following are My duties and responsibilities:
• I am providing service to our client and working currently on Oracle Goldengate Bi-Directional Replication Project for 60 branches replication.
• Implementing Oracle Goldengate 11.2 on Branches and synchronizing with Main Server in Data Center.
• Checking Oracle Goldengate Replication Status on each branch through command as well as through Oracle Goldengate Monitor 11.1
• I have configured Oracle Goldengate Monitor 11.1 on separate server in Data Center which collects status of Oracle goldengate from Main Server and Branches.
• I wrote Shell scripts for RMAN Backups and auto DB Startup.
• Verifying orphan records in database with application Domain Team, and fixing orphan record due to which oracle goldengate replication stop in branch database and synchronizing with main server.
• Responsible production databases with Oracle RAC 10g.
• Implemented policies for Auto Scripts through different ways.
• Responsible database emergency response, and performed on call and support rotation responsibilities, and generating Patch if required.
• Generating SR if any issue occurs and resolving on timely base.
• Created an automated, enterprise wide monitoring infrastructure using several key technologies including UNIX shell scripts and SQL.
• Implementing oracle goldengate Veridata for each branch and main server.
• Provide oracle goldengate for high availability.
• Implemented TAF for RAC environment to survive reporting interruption.
• Established and wrote the company’s standards and best practices document for all Oracle database environments based on Oracle's Optimal Flexible Architecture.
• Follow Oracle standard documents for each issue and guidelines.
• Checking Database health Monitoring on daily basis and deleting unnecessary log files.
• Work support to Development team and database designer of the applications of its kind to allow automobiles and leasing system projects to communicate with browser applications etc.
• Wrote scripts for build the entire database including tablespace, schemas, tables, grants etc.
• DB Health monitoring through scripts as well as OEM, import/export (Data pump), and custom-ized profile scripts, Tuned SQL and the database engine.
• Worked with end users and corporate executives to identify business processes and application requirements that can be part of ERD.
• Responsible for Oracle Database Real Time performance monitoring, database troubleshooting & tuning, database emergency response/DR, and performed on call and support rotation responsibilities.
• Wrote an Oracle database backup application that Versions Hot and Cold backups, automatically deleted old backups in accordance with a retention policy, and recorded backup information in an Oracle database.
• Designed and implemented various high availability solutions for a diverse group of clients run-ning Oracle9i, Oracle10g, and Oracle11g using Data Guard, RMAN, Flashback.
• Work in Performance Tuning Team as a PT member for one cretical project. Performed applica-tion, SQL, and database instance tuning using a wide range of technologies including ADDM, AWR, Statspack, extended SQL trace, CBO analysis, OEM Performance Manager, and custom scripts.
• Created an automated, enterprise wide monitoring infrastructure using several key technologies including UNIX shell scripts and SQL. This allowed our operational DBA team to efficiently gather database metadata, exceptions,
• implementaion of Oracle GoldenGate for same type of servers with same RDBMS for Uni-Directional DMD and DDL implementation.
