Professional Experience
1) Qatar Vinyl Company, Qatar Feb, 2004 - Present Senior Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Supervise, manage and support ERP and other miscellaneous business systems running in the organization
• Coordinate, plan and manage new ERP implementations / upgrades
• Ensure that ERP software meets business requirements and goals
• Collaborate with system owners in the testing of ERP software programs and applications
• Liaise with users and software vendors in identifying and resolving support issues

Projects handled:
A) Implementation of Oracle Self-service HRMS
Role: Project Manager Period: May, 2016 to August, 2016
Completed the implementation of Oracle self-service HRMS with very limited external resources and in a short span of time. The project went live in August, 2016 with the all the AME and workflow configurations in place. A high level of HR process automation was achieved through this project.
B) Implementation of Oracle HR/Payroll
Role: Project Manager Period: January, 2015 to April, 2015
I managed this in-house project, with limited external resources, to replace the legacy HRMS. In addition to project management, I also handled the techno-functional part of the implementation, which included requirement gathering, system design, configuration of elements, SIT’s, formula, functions, data loading and payroll integration with General Ledger, and also helped the domain users with data cleansing and mapping.
C) Implementation of Oracle Inventory, eAM, Purchasing and iProcurement modules
Role: Techno-functional lead / project lead Period: May, 2012 to November, 2013
The project replaced the legacy maintenance management system Immpower that was running Inventory, eAM and Purchasing modules with interfaces to Oracle Financials. My role in this project was to liaise between the business users and the implementation consultants to translate the requirements, to help users in testing during CRP and UAT sessions, to come up with solutions to close the gaps where needed and to provide support to users and stabilize the system after going live.
D) Technical upgrade of Oracle Financials from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3
Role: Project Manager Period: March, 2012 to May, 2012
In this totally in-house project, I was responsible for the technical upgrade of the Oracle Financials system from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 in preparation for the upcoming eAM implementation project.
E) Technical upgrade of Oracle Financials from 12.0.6 to 12.1.1
Role: Project Manager Period: September, 2010 to October, 2010
This too was a complete in-house project - also a technical upgrade from 12.0.6 to 12.1.1 of our Oracle Financials system.
F) Complex cross-platform upgrade of Oracle Financials from 11.5.7 to 12.0.6
Role: Project Coordinator Period: April, 2009 to July, 2009
The project involved upgrade of the database from 8i to 10g, OS from HP Tru64 Unix to RedHat Linux, and the eBusiness from 11.5.7 to 12.0.6. In this complex project, my role was to provide the requirements to the implementation consultant, test the upgraded system along with the key users and provide post-upgrade support.

Other responsibilities in the organization:
Apart from the above projects, I am responsible for the day-to-day smooth functioning of the ERP system and miscellaneous business applications running in the organization and for the creation and scheduling of reports from the above systems using Oracle BI Publisher and to cater to the ad-hoc reporting and data mining requirements using PL/SQL.
