Manages local administration and operations functions as appropriate in accordance with
standards, policies and procedures.
Direct involvement in incidents or problems that cause IT service impact and acts as
escalation point for incidents not being resolved in a timely manner
Maintaining and monitoring IT operating environments
Provides supervision, technical support and guidance to the IT admins.
Ensures execution of proper operations and maintenance for the organization’s standard
hardware, software and voice/data network solutions consisting of a combination of
physical and virtual platforms.
Ensure operational availability of all IT Services to agreed service levels.
Works closely with the IT Service Desk and other Specialist to ensure a timely, robust and
comprehensive service transition process.
Responsible for systems documentation for operations manuals.
Plan design, hardware implementation, software, network and communication services.
Plan and implement upgrades needed to maintain service levels
Manage backup and restore processes
Manage and Review DR Processes.
Assist technical staff to check and ensure resolution of all issues to achieve all
objectives.
Implement IT continuous improvement programs
Oversee the daily IT operations and the IT Technical team
Design & Establishes VPN, LAN, WAN and DMZ, analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
Continually improves the networks by monitoring and evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
Secures the networks by developing and implementing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation systems; maintaining documentation. Administers servers, virtual servers, NAS, SAN, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
Maintains network facilities in all machines, such as drivers and settings of personal devices and printers.
Maintains network servers such as file servers, VPN Gateways and intrusion detection systems.
Protects organizational value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership of tasks and requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Plan, test, and implement upgrades for IT Systems in Head Office and all remote areas.
