Preparation of concept design and detailed structural calculation report for glass curtain walls,
skylight, glass balustrade, stone and ceramic curtain wall and secure Client's/Consultant's
approval of the calculation.

from concept to final design of facade. Assessed construction method and provided study on
thermal capability and constructability of structural design.
• Supported Structural Engineers and Designers in the development of various façade projects,
contributed ideas, solutions for analysis and connection design. Reviewed, commented
structural design, coordinated and resolved issues.
• Implemented schedule and progress control of structural calculation requirements.
• Performed site visit surveys as needed to document and evaluate existing structures and
determine engineering strategies.
• Performed structural analysis for the effect of design loads (dead load, wind load, live load,
thermal load, seismic load and other load) to act on façade elements such as glass,
aluminum, steel, composite cladding, stone cladding and various materials using various
design techniques and software application based on standard codes and Project
Specification.
Developed typical detail, produced hand sketches, ACAD details for the conceptualization
and connections of Unitized, Stick System, Frameless Glass or Point-Fixed elements,

preparation of structural details.

System.
• Analyzed single/double glazing using ASTM E1300 for standard glazing sizes and Finite
Element Method for non-standard glazing size.
• Calculated façade units (stick curtain wall, unitized curtain wall, frameless glass), canopies,
balusters, skylights, gondolas, monorails, composite cladding materials, exhaust & intake
(sand trap) louvers.
• Analyzed standard and customized aluminum profile- reinforced or non-reinforced with
aluminum or steel.
• Designed connections, aluminum or steel brackets & anchors.
Structural design analysis of Stick and Unitized Curtain Walls, skylights and connections.
• Prepared estimates & standard details.
• Reviewed existing system for any possible additional profiles to adapt client's special

• Researched BS Code for the development of spreadsheets and response to all technical

• Developed macro-activated spreadsheets to suit company & and client requirement:
Program for the structural calculation for the capacity of aluminum sections (unreinforced
or reinforced transoms or mullions). Reinforcement may be selected from aluminum or
any steel section that may fit inside the cavity. Welding of built-up section is also
computed. Wind load as per CP3-Chapter V. Aluminum design as per BS8118. Section
profiles and corresponding structural properties automatically change as per selection.
Structural design analysis of Pre-Engineered Warehouse-type Buildings using Metal Building
Software (MBS) or STAAD Pro.
• Prepared estimates and company standard details.
• Researched AISC Code, BS Code MBMA and other relevant codes for the development of
spreadsheets / VBA programming.

structures, the largest of which is the Bottling Building with 2 hectares floor area.
• Final checked miscellaneous fabrication drawings, connection details & necessary concrete
embedments.
• Prepared bid documents for sub-contractors, pre-evaluated qualified bidders and
recommended to the General Manager for final negotiation.
Directly reported to General Manager all activities relating to the Construction Operation of
the company.
• Implemented Civil and Structural Works related projects. Checked and recommended: Bid
Proposals, Project Budget Proposals, Project Schedules and, Manpower & Equipments
Requirements.
• Checked and approved: Materials take-off and all other requisitions, periodic
accomplishment, and actual cash flow of each project and responsible for the control of the
company's construction operational resources.

Conceptualized and Structural Designed the Bulk Storage for the Raw Sugar Warehouse of
Lopez Sugar Corp, Sagay, Negros Occidental, Philippines. The design involves retaining wall,
tunnel to house the withdrawal conveyor, column and foundation design, tie beams, sugar
bins, hoppers, structural framing and support of stationary and movable equipment, horizontal
conveyor, movable plow, rack & pinion gate for withdrawal hoppers.
• Construction of 5 Megawatt Turbo Generator Mass Foundation for Don Pedro Sugar Central-
Philippines,
• Design and construction of 1600 units concrete piers for the sub-distribution power line of
BACMAN Geothermal Plant- Philippines.
• Fabrication and installation of roof deck safety railings of Vitas, Tondo housing projects by RII
Builders.
• Prepared preliminary and final structural design of steel and concrete structures.
• Prepared Quantity Survey, Bar Chart, PERT-CPM, S-Curve, Manpower and Equipment
Utilization, Cash Flow Diagram.
• Supervised and aided the draftsmen in structural detailing works.

• Assigned as Civil Engineer Aide doing the job of QS and later promoted to Site Engineer for
the construction of Padang Spur Dikes and, San Jose Spur Dikes.

Topographic Survey, Earthworks Survey, Differential leveling and established vertical and
