Exposure to Enterprise Risk Management suite of products: Basel II, Market Risk, Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) Analysis, Economic Capital, Credit Risk Analytics (Corporate & Retail), Asset Liability Management, Funds Transfer Pricing, Customer Profitability, Liquidity Risk Management, Operational Risk and Basel III / Solvency II
• Qualifying the ERM needs of banks, scoping their requirements and architecting solutions to suit their requirements
• Anchoring responses to RFP (Request for Proposal) / RFI (Request for Information) documents of banks
• Preparation of Statement of Work (SoW) for implementation of risk management products clearly bringing out the scope and project plan

Hands-on experience in corporate and retail banking credit involving credit appraisal, risk rating, pricing, analysis and risk management. The size of the corporate credit asset portfolio handled is US$ 71 million. Ongoing management of exposures has guarded against asset impairment. Have strong grounding in formulation of credit policies in retail & corporate segments and reviewed the bank's Loan Policy prioritising exposures & setting Retail and Industry exposures keeping in view the monetary & fiscal policies and market competition. Regulatory capital computation under Basel II and design of ICAAP for the bank
Play a supporting role to the Credit sub-group of ALCO (Asset-Liability Management Committee) of the bank. Management of various exposures vis-à-vis the norms through analysis of asset portfolio.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
1) Conscious of the risks run by the banks the world over and their quest for best risk management practices, I took initiatives in making a presentation on risk-based pricing of products and Basel requirements, which was well appreciated by the Risk Management Committee of the bank.
2) Served as a Functional Consultant (Credit Domain) for the Core Banking project, BANCS 24, undertaken by the bank, with the role of setting credit parameters and re-engineering credit processes/procedures to facilitate smoother transition to core banking.
Handled project appraisal and working capital assessment of Medium & Large scale units with a combined credit exposure of about US$40 mio belonging to varied industries like petrochemicals, metals, trade and so forth. Done viability studies for restructuring of distressed accounts. Introduced the concept of Discounted Cash Flow technique in restructuring clients' accounts. Evolved strategies in tracking the warning signals in loan assets likely to deteriorate.
Hands-on experience on day-to-day branch operations like deposits, cash operations, bills financing, retail loan assets and housekeeping.

Treasury Management and Risk Management are the papers in this Post-Graduate Diploma in Treasury & Forex Management leading to the award of the designation, CTM (Certified Treasury Manager). The course deals with investment in fixed income securities/equities/commodities and derivatives like options,futures, swaps etc.,
ICMA Professional qualification acquired after successful completion of the course majoring costing, budgeting and pricing .
CAIIB Professional qualification acquired from IIB. The course deals with banking, monetary economics and accounting.
