* Leading a team of 8 members
* Handling the development of Levi's and Dockers, through the Liason office of Levi's in Bangalore.
* Handling production of Buyer called Belk, through Li&Fung - Gurgoan.
Below are my work description.
* Style development once the costs are finalized with the Buyer.
* After the style selection by Buyer, capacity will be blocked planning team as per Buyer required delivery date.
* After receipt of the order from Buyer, Fabric and all other sewing materials will be ordered within 5 days of time.
* Visiting fabric mills for the critical T&A to meet the PCD committed to planning team.
* Working closely with fabric and trims sourcing team to inhouse the materials as per plan.
* For the critical paths, coordinating with suppliers directly to ensure sewing materials are getting inhouse on-time.
* Moving with right time coordination with sample room to ensure samples are sent ontime to Buyer.
* Chase with Buyer for the sample approvals.
* Conducting the PPM and ensure production started ontime to meet the Buyer delivery.
* Visiting factories to ensure production is meeting the T&A provided by the planning team.
* Monitoring the production outputs day to day basis.
* Coordinating with commercial team during shipment to ensure cargo reaches the port ontime to catch scheduled vessel.
Close follow up with Buyer for monthly orders.
Filling up the factory’s blocked capacity for my customer on monthly basis.
Making my Team work proactively to place the orders with fabric and trims suppliers based on the projections received from Buyer.
Chasing up with sample department for all kind of sample making as per Buyer’s requirement.
Follow up with Buyer for all kind of approvals like sample, trims and fabrics in order to ensure smooth start of production.
Working out time and action plans for each style in coordination with planning team and monitoring the progress on daily basis along with team to meet the goods handover dates.
Sending production reports to Buyer on daily basis and keeping them updated on daily progress.
Visiting factories on daily basis to understand the production output.
Motivating and appraising the Team members whenever required to bring the best out of them.
