Supervise the QC staff for welding inspections & fabrication of pressure vessels, boilers, separators, tanks, boozers & piping.
Ensure the implementation of design codes and standards throughout design and manufacturing processes through assistance of equipment design team by providing requisite quality standards information and subsequent technical review of the design documents from QC perspective.
Raise the non-conformance reports (NCR) for rectification of discrepancies.
Prepare repair procedures for repair jobs.
Prepare manufacturing data books for the projects.
Prepare MDR (Manufacturer’s Data Report) for stamped equipments.
Review PDR (Manufacturer’s Partial Data Report) of welded dish heads procured from other manufacturer for use in stamped equipments.
Develop, initiate and maintain procedures associated with ASME, CE Marking and ISO 9001:2008 for assorted projects.
Prepare WPS as per ASME IX, AWS D1.1, API 1104, BS EN 15614, ASME VIII, ASME B 31.3, and applicable project specs and maintain procedure qualification record (PQR) as per ASME, AWS D1.1 and EN standards.
Welding inspections, fabrication of Pressure Vessels, Steel Structure, Boilers, Tanks, Piping, Piping inspections.
Performing fit-up inspection as per inspection and test plan and supervision of material Fabrication. Which include dimensional and quality Checking.
Witnessing of Welder Performance Qualification Tests and reviewed its NDE & Prepared the welder qualification records as per ASME, AWS & EN standards.
Controlling pre-heating before commencing welding if required and selection and implementation of pre-heating temperature as per spec and codes.
Review project specifications for requirements of NDE, procedure and welder qualification if any.
Lead, plan, organize and coordinate with team of welding inspectors and subcontractors’ technicians.
Inspection of welding, piping and fabrication of mechanical equipment as per international standards and applicable project specifications.
Review of the NDE and Mechanical & Physical test reports as per international standards and applicable project specifications.
