 I am Responsible for construction E&I activities through the contractors supervision in respect of HSE, method, working practices, quality and timely execution of the works.
 Identification & review of Client Engineering standards, other International standards & statutory requirment required for the project and to ensure the design is carrired out in accordance with project requirments.
 To ensure compliance with HSE legislation, Company standards and procedures as they apply to project management and project engineering to ensure employee safety and legislative compliance.
 To ensure compliance with Company Management System and applicable International Standards.
 To participate in the risk assessment/ JSA sessions, as required to ensure safe and timely execution of the works. Conducts daily safety tours, tool box talk audits and ensures all safety issues are reported through yard management in a timely manner.
 Responsible for reviewing construction & commissioning drawings such as Electrical & Instrument location drawing, P&I diagrams, hook-up, connection, typical installation details, Termination details, Cable schedule, Cable trench layout drawing, Airline details, Earthing detail, Main Cable Layout, loop diagram, logic diagram, narrative, Cause & effect diagram etc.
 Review of vender document/ drawing/test procedure and certificate/operating manuals/design book/engineering data book etc. in accordance with the project design basis/specification.
 Ensure installed E&I and Telecommunication equipment is certified for area classification.
 Ensures that all required inspections, audits or equipment certification required are performed in time and that all corrective action plan is properly implemented by CONTRACTOR;
 Prepared & Review all E & I NCR/SOR and review all Electrical &instrument punch list items.
 I am responsible to RFI and TQS maintain timely in order to progress work.
 Instrument installation and Inspecion in according with construction drawing and project specification, specified international code and standard.
 Ensures sufficient resources (area, manpower, equipment, tools, consumables etc.) are assigned by the CONTRACTOR for achieving daily/ weekly progress targets for electrical and instrumentation work, based on approved project baseline schedule. Ensures all training requirements (per Contract and COMPANY standards) are fully adhered by the CONTRACTOR. Verify and confirm the quality and competencies of the assigned manpower and highlight any deficiencies.
 I force to contractor the proper application of PTWs, LOTO and other supporting certificate during all site walk down, testing and commissioning activities and close monitoring of Contractor performance to ensure that the achieved progress is in line with the work time schedule.
 Ensures issuance of e weekly Yard progress within the cut-off time. Ensures that all fabrication steps, pre-commissioning & load-out activities are properly completed for delivery ready for commissioning.
 Participates in weekly Construction / Yard meetings with CONTRACTOR/SUBCONTRACTORS
 Reports on regular basis about construction/installation progress, productivity, and potential drifts on quality, planning and/or cost.Maintained daily records of progress report & reported to the manager.
 Liaison with contractor, home office Engineering and client representatives.

• Responsible for reviewing related construction and commissioning drawings such as Instrument location drawing, P&I diagrams, typical installation details, Earthing System, ILD, I/O assignment and nest loading details, Alarm setting list, control narrative, Cause & effect diagram and review of vendor documents, drawings, data sheets and SAT procedure.
• Review the construction sequence, work plan/procedure and method statement to ensure comprenhensive feasibility and safety.
• Ensure proper control of changes by issuing FIs for all changes, reviewing TQs to ensure responses are appropriate and practical, and reviewing ARNs to ensure correct use of construction resources
• Ensure practical security and protection of the works and that all contractors provisions for temporary lighting, transport, vehicles, plant and equipment, hand tools are in adequate supply and totally fit for purpose comply with Company HSE standards and lifesaving rules. Reinforce the Company HSE requirements to the colleagues / Vendors / Construction Contractors.
• Ensure supervisors / inspectors carry out the witness, inspection and surveillance check in accordance with contractor discipline Inspection and Test Plans, and the company site quality plan.
• Ensure testing, measuring equipment is fully calibrated per specification & has current certification.
• Routinely study, check, review and validate the discipline scope of work against the appropriate Contract Requisition to ensure the Contractors correctly interpret and comply with the latest revision drawings and specifications. I force to contractor the proper application of PTWs, LOTO and other supporting certificate during all site walk down, testing and commissioning activities.
• Attend Mechanical Completion, Commissioning final walk-down and sign on behalf of Company. Assist Quality audit upon request. Participate in Flawless Project Delivery Programme.
• Verify field installation, test/ pre-commissioning procedures and commissioning plans.
• Monitoring construction & commissioning activity and participate SAT, Loop check, Function check and progress in accordance with their submitted work schedule. Witness for loop check Functionality checks for the fire and gas system, ESD system, DCS system & Vendor package.

• Monitor construction and Commissioning activities and ensure their right delivery in accordance to the agreed standards.
