As part of the internship program, I liaised with various departments, actively participated in the everyday workings of the factory including inspection and colour monitoring of the glass coatings. During the 5 month program, I managed my own research and delivered a well-appreciated technical report on 'The Effect of Layer Thickness on Glass Coatings'.
Using excellent communication skills, I developed and maintained successful working relationships with the staff.
During the 2 month intern ship program, I was actively involved in developing client interest in the products and services of the company. Also helped the sales/marketing department secure a high value project for the company. Marketing strategies were observed and applied under the guidance of the business development manager. Excellent relationships were developed during the course of the program.

Study Oriented Project- Chemical Degradation of Azo-Dyes: A theoretical research of the methods available to degrade azo-dyes, its chemistry and efficacy was done. Of the available physical, chemical and biological processes available, it was found that the most efficient technologies involve the oxidation process. A detailed study into the chemistry behind oxidation processes that lead to the reduction in COD, BOD levels and color intensity was then done. 3. Summer Internship at Interiors Quotient for 2 months. Project title: An Overview of the Internal Processes of Interiors Quotient. Grade awarded: A. 4.
