• • Overseeing inbound/outbound logistics operations, such as material collection from Supplier warehouse in liase with freight forwarder by ensuring receipt of original shipping documents available with contracted INCOTERMS; Analyzing all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting products or supplies in accordance with the company policy and standards.
• Coordinating with other departments like Inventory & Warehouse; Expedite the shipments by analyzing the financial impact of proposed logistics changes such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers requirements in order to avoid nil stock status.
• Managing Import and Export shipments (handled: Oil & Gas Goods -Instrumentation, Dangerous, Radio Active and Telecommunication products) in liaise with Freight forwarders/ courier by ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Reporting directly to the Procurement & Logistics Manager: Formulating with the Day to Day Shipment Tracking, Expediting shipping (Inbound & Outbound) status of all shipments.
• Sourcing reliable Freight Forwarders/ couriers by Negotiating transportation rates/services in order to meet warehouse department delivery deadlines.
• Responsible to get the shipping documents attested from various local departments like: Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and from various consulates.
• Responsible to clear all the EXIT certificates from Customs Department to get the refund of duty deposit for all the export shipments.
• Shipping Promotional Items and Demo units during Exhibitions (ADIPEC) incorporate with Sales & Marketing Department.
• Establishing & monitoring specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems; Creating policies and procedures for logistics activities and updating frequently.
• Monitoring supplier performance/ 3rd party (Freight Forwarder/ Courier) and report to the Management.
• Planning/implementing improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes
• Communicating with Insurance Companies to issue Policies complying with LC terms; Preparing LC compliant shipping documentations and corresponding with banks for LC Terms & Shipping Guarantees.
• Evaluate and forward invoices of Suppliers, Freight Forwarders, Clearing Agents and Insurance companies to Accounts Department.
- Interacting with Local /International Customers / Suppliers with regards to Handling Enquiries, Preparing Quotations, Orders, Assisting in Inspection of Material, Issuing Invoices with follow up for Payments with update to Finance Department.
- Communicating with Suppliers / Principals regarding Consignment Pick up and parallel with Freight Forwarders for the shipment clearance.
- Making Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Sales Reports in co-ordination with Sales Team for Management Meetings.
Preparing Comprehensive Tenders for Oil & Gas, BMS, Security, Telecom Projects
- Knowledge of PDF editor, Excel Spread Sheet, Preparing Charts/ Diagrams using MS Visio, MS Project and User-friendly forms using MS InfoPath.
- Responsible for managing and achieving monthly targets for the center and supervising the marketing activities
- Responsible for Marketing various Software Courses based on company’s portfolio.
- Responsible for Direct Sales of Various Accounting Packages to Clients in Kerala.
- Conducting Technical Training for new staff joining the Franchise.
