• Manage the timely response to all emergency breakdowns and provide prompt corrective action to ensure plant availability, thereby minimizing downtime and possibility of liquidity damages. Monitor the Preventive maintenance activities to ensure continuity and reliability of plant electrical equipment.
• Successfully completed the ISO 9001:2015 & API Audit as per company Quality Management System.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Purchasing & Store department & Participate in the effective forecasting of manpower and material requirements to ensure timely availability of resources and spares for effective execution of Electrical maintenance plans.
• Ensure that all maintenance documentation for the maintenance activities are completed correctly including the Maintenance Log, method of repair and the time, Manpower & materials used to support timely availability of information.
• Liaise with EPC / OEM contractors for clarification, analysis and technical guidance to ensure clarity of communications/accurate fulfilment of operational requirements & Supervises suppliers & contractors for Electrical Engineering and design personnel on the assigned project team.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant HSSE and permit to work system, instructions and controls and procedures are complied with so the safety of employees & environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
• Develop and promote a condition based preventive maintenance culture on day to day basis by conducting troubleshooting and root cause analyses, finding solutions to reduce reactive maintenance.
• Review and analyses electrical equipment maintenance data and determine the feasibility of introducing modifications to increase reliability and efficiency of plant, thereby ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Lead the Electrical team, work independently without taking any pressure safely & efficiently.
• Witness and monitor Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities in substation & in field, ensure their right delivery in accordance to the agreed standards,
• Witness of energize Electrical equipment such as Generator, Transformer, Motors, UPS, VSD, Heat Tracing perform by EPC.
• Witness of Electrical equipment Functional Test, performed by EPC.
• Issuing punch-list during walk through of MCPN, MCC & MCAN.
• Monitor punch items in order to bring the subsystem to the completion stage.
• Conduct point-to-point control wire checking of MV /LV Switch gear & MCC.
• Diagnose malfunctioning system equipment by using test equipment & hand tools to locate the cause of breakdown and suggest the necessary corrective action & modification as per required.
• Routine and preventive maintenance duties on medium and low voltage electrical equipment and power system which includes the checking, servicing of equipment such as, MV/LV Generators, , MV/LV Transformers, MV/LV Switch gears, MV/LV MCC, UPS DC Chargers, Power Panels, batteries, general & emergency lighting, switch boards.
• Supervised electricians in the maintenance of plant process controls.
• To monitoring and allocation of works to the subordinates and ensure safe work.
• Responsible for preparation and execution of preventive & corrective, breakdown and shutdown maintenance and handling Isolation/ De-Isolation control.
• Proper diagnosis of fault and completing the work to a high standard.
• Responsible for the Installation, Troubleshooting & Maintenance in Desalination plant, Sea water cooling plant, Chemical treatment plant (CTP), Reverse Osmosis plant (RO) & pump stations with process control instruments.
• To carry out maintenance servicing of field equipment and prioritized their repair according to need.
• Responsible for the Attend troubleshooting or controlling fault of VFD & PLC base controlling System, Panel wiring and relay logic checking in control .
• Completes all necessary paperwork for regulatory compliance on I&E equipment
• Schedules and performs inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment at Industrial Machinery and plants.
• Fault finds and rectify of electrical panels, pneumatic system and hydraulic System.
• Installation & attend troubleshooting of Electrical & Electronics
• Accessories, instruments and controlling wirings Relays, contactor, AC Drives, PLC Motors, Control valve, Level switch, Pressure switch, Temperature controller, flow meter and Soft starters etc.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in plants and machines.
• Ability to identify risks, a team-oriented approach and ambition to succeed in a demanding environment.
• Closely communicating and coordinating with production and Maintenance for providing technical support efforts to improve electrical system reliability on the in-charged area.
• Participate (as needed) in investigation team for any abnormality / failures in plants electrical installations and provide technical support and recommend solutions to enhance reliability of electrical system / equipment.
• Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of electrical systems and equipment.
• Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and equipment.
• Assurance of the continual availability of process control systems and power distribution systems in the whole works area and monitoring and evaluation all measurements. Decision and implementation of measures against discovered failures and shortfalls.
• Identification of problem areas, technical shortfalls and analysis of problems as well as execution of solution concepts for optimization of production equipment, with the objective of improvement of output, safety, environmental and economic considerations.
• Good knowledge of control and electrical systems, ability to design systems.
