Duties and Responsibilities
•Inspection of HV/LV Metering panels, Transformers and switchgears.
•Verification of revised multiplication factor due to change of electricity metering.
•Energy meters inspection for (external/internal inspection requests) high consumption/cross connection and preparing technical inspection reports.
•Inspection of un-authorized, un-metered or partially un-metered and reporting such cases for necessary action.
•Preparation of supplementary assessment of dropped consumption for unbilled period of un-authorized direct connection cases.
•Inspection of SOLAR METERING, PV Panels for export/import energy calculation.
•Follow up the commissioning reports of metering equipment /metered inside substation (11Kv), received from engineering department.
•Worked on IMS/AMI Metering Pilot project in DEWA.
•Any others job assigned by the section superiors.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Perform duties as allocated by the Deputy Manager (M&T) Maintenance and Testing.
•Preventive/Corrective maintenance of LV/HV panels/switchgear, transformer and electricity-metering equipment’s reporting fault, wrong wiring cases, same rectification.
•Verify Insulation Resistance test, Earth Leakage test.
•Computerized programming of TOU/TOD Meters.
•Rectification of Faults in H.V and L.V. Connections
•Installation, testing/checking & recalibration of Single Phase, Three Phase & CT/VT operated TOU/TOD (M.D.I.) Electric Energy Meters. Clip-On Digital Dower Factor Tong Tester, Power Analyzer Meters. Single and three Phase Rotaries.
•Checking of Energy meters (Active & Reactive) on Computerized Testing Unit Accu-check Meters and as well as on Single Phase &Three Phase Rotaries.
•Analysis of Consumption Data based on Load Factor, Maximum Demand, Power Factor etc.
•Supervision of CABLE JOINTER team.
•Inspection of 11KV, 33 KV&132KV Substations panels, leakage detecting, using Ultra probe/Ultra Sonic.
•Testing of Battery chargers & batteries at11KV, 33 KV&132KV Substations.
•Installation, Balancing of Electric Poles.HT lines LT lines (Transmission lines).
•Distribution (Under Ground) line detection using Cable Router.
•Installation, Testing and Tap changing of Transformer.
•Application classes attended for CCTV/PLC/SCADA/Fire Alarm.
