Responsibilities:
To ensure the following are carried out:
• Progress - deliverables are being completed within the base lined time scales.
• Cost - deliverables are being completed within the base lined cost plan.
• Quality - deliverables are being completed to defined expectations, first time.
• Performance (Value) - progress is being earned for the expected cost.
• Cash flow - net project cash flow is being achieved as the defined expectations.
• SHE - the required Safety, Health & Environmental standards are being achieved.
• Regulatory - all required statutory and regulatory conditions are being met.
• Reporting - regular and timely reporting of project progress to the sponsors.
• Risk - to proactively manage foreseen project risk, mitigating as necessary.
• Change - managing changes to the project without unduly affecting the stated objectives and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Cash flow - net project cash flow is being achieved as the defined expectations

• Regulatory - all required statutory and regulatory conditions are being met
• Reporting - regular and timely reporting of project progress to the sponsors
• Risk - to proactively manage foreseen project risk, mitigating as necessary
• Change - managing changes to the project without unduly affecting the stated objectives and benefits
• Contract control from receiving work order to projects closing out.
• developing the program of work and strategy for making the project happen.
• Planning ahead to prevent problems on site before they occur, for example, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials.
• making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health safety and the environment (HSE) are adhered to.
• overseeing the running of several projects.
• using construction management software packages to plan smooth work flows.
• communicating with a range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce.
provide support to the operations in the field in terms of specialist meachanical discipline support and direct discipline support input into implementation of plant improvements.
There are main elements to this job:
1. To ensure the maintainability over the short term of AFPC’s rotating equipment facilities by securing technical integrity and reliability in the most commercially viable, efficient, and safe manner, through definition and provision of maintenance and production standards, strategies, procedures, contracts, inspection, analysis, improvements and quality control.
2. To provide support to field operations departments with mechanical Engineering input and technical review input to small and short term PIRs projects design.
3. The technical support includes troubleshooting of rotating equipment, improving equipment availability and reliability and ensuring/supporting field technically to align the long term OEE plan.
4. To provide technical support for input into Field developments, new projects, plant or Facility upgrades or changes.
· Responsible for the supervision of the discipline elements involved in the construction of oil & gas related projects
· Ensure the discipline element of new construction projects are carried out in accordance with appropriate technical specifications and Company and contract requirements.
· Responsible for coordination with other discipline supervisors during construction work in or on live facilities. Where shutdowns are involved to ensure a smooth overall execution of projects in the most timely and cost effective manner.
· Responsible for daily coordination and communication with OEP project engineers and design consultants.
· Supervise contractor activities and resources in accordance with contract and Company planning requirements for the project
· To achieve the HSE targets in the OME department business plan and promote company HSE policies among contractor staff
