Auditing
• Conducting Statutory Audits of Nationalized Banks- State Bank of Patiala, Punjab National Bank and UCO Bank.
• Conducting Concurrent Audit of Nationalized Banks- Bank of India, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, Allahabad Bank and Bank of India.
• Conducting and Reporting of Stock Audit Assignments of various organizations for Banks- State Bank of India, Allahabad Bank, Punjab National Bank & Bank of India.
• Manage audit matters of the clientele of firms. Accountability extends to reporting of audit objections, preparations of financial statements as per the latest accounting standards as well as statutory requirement, cash flow analysis, preparation of audit reports and filing of income-tax returns individuals, firms as well as corporate tax returns. Hiring and supervising of accounting and auditing staff of around ten.

Accounting
• Proven leadership in financial accounting.
• Book- keeping of clients as per latest Accounting Standards and Principles.

Consultancy Services
• As managing partner, participate in strategic planning of clients including expense forecasting, tax planning and investment strategies.
• Looking after investment portfolios of individual clients of the firm.
• Preparing CMA Data of firms for obtention of various loans (Housing/ Loan Against Property/ Cash Credit Limits/ Term Loans etc.)
• Devising of Management Information Systems and Deviation Report formats.

Quasi Judicial Services (Taxation)
• Representing before Statutory Authorities for Income-tax/ Service tax cases/ scrutiny assessments of the clients of the firm.



Others
• Responsible for teaching principles of financial accountancy, taxation, auditing, statutory compliances, management accountancy, commercial laws to interns/trainees enrolled with the V.K. Nayyar & Co. in pursuance of their Chartered Accountancy course.
• Responsible for on the job training of interns/trainees enrolled with V.K. Nayyar & Co. in pursuance of their Chartered Accountancy course.
• Responsible for software training of trainees/ interns.

• Supervised accounting staff of the firm. Responsibility included:
o Managing accounts of the clientele of the firm as well as of the firm.
o Ensure accurate daily book keeping.
o Filing of the quarterly/annual returns under Service Tax, TDS, Income Tax, Wealth Tax.
o Timely support to commercial, marketing and production team of clients to ensure smooth flow of work.
o Preparation of monthly MIS for clients.
o Ensure compliance of TDS provisions, issue necessary certificates.
o To prepare required details for statutory audit and tax audit.

• Headed Internal Audit team for Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana during article ship with V.K. Nayyar & Co. (1996- 2000). Instrumental in documenting purchase manual for the Hospital.
