Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting - Ensuring departments budget proposal are complete accuracy and are aligned with organization's policy; Analyzing the proposed budget Vs historical trend after incorporating company's strategy; Effectively monitoring and management of company's performance against the approved budget and business plans and challenging the deviations.
Analysis - Providing detail multi dimensional analytical reports for sound business decision and growth, such as Channel/Category/Segment/Route/Production line/Customer wise profitability analysis with key drivers of past performance;
Profit optimization - Providing inside input for improvement through profitability analysis; critical evaluation of marketing campaign, high contribution margin based product mix promotional activities, selling prices, product placements, rebates and support for the required off takes.
Reporting - Working closely within the department to streamline internal monthly and quarterly financial reports and quarterly audit reviews. Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information processed from subsystems. Update subsystem information into the G/L on a regular basis. Ensuring inventory valuation and cycle count are properly conducted. Reviewing journal entries (Accruals & Prepayments) and post at month end. Ensuring all backup for invoicing, payables and payroll are reviewed prior to payment processing.
