• Reporting directly to Assistant General Manager/ Treasury .
• Member in Investment committee.
• Member in Assets Liability management committee.
• Managing trading equity portfolio of the bank (Size of portfolio 3 MM USD) .
• Managing long-term equity portfolio of the bank (Size of portfolio 20 MM USD). This includes following up the trading activity in Amman stock market, evaluating the portfolio, collecting dividends, subscriptions and attending general assembly meetings.
• Monitoring the performance and financial standing of major companies through financial analysis.
• Achieving better performance of equity portfolio compared to the market index .
• Responsible of P&L of bank portfolio .
• Reviewing &making a benefit of the studies of research department.
• Monitoring the main economic indicators effect on Amman stock market.
• Following up all matters related to the implementation of the investment policies of Arab Banking Corporation and monitoring compliance with Central Bank of Jordan's policies and circulars
MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
-Reporting directly to Assistant General Manager/ Corporate Banking
-Acting Head of Corporate Banking Department
-Member in Commercial Credit Committee (making final credit decision up to 150K JD)
-Member in Corporate Credit Committee (making final credit decision up to 700K JD)
-Recovered 5 MM JD of bad debts in 2005
-Recovered 2 MM JD of bad debts in 2006
-Reduce percentage of Non Performing Loans from 12% to less than 5% (years 2004 to 2006)
-Created additional revenue of 1.7 MM JD in 2005 by developing a new product (Financing Stock), with no bad debts resulted
-Head of a team of twelve Account Officers involved in the promotion and provision of corporate banking services to existing and potential Bank customers
-Advisor for facilities’ customers concerning FX and interest rate risk
-Directing the implementation of the credit on validity of applications & grant credit for corporate borrowers policies of Arab Banking Corporation
-Ensuring compliance with Central Bank of Jordan's policies and circulars

- Making final credit decisions in SMEs Credit Committee up to 50K JD
- Member in Retail Credit Committee (making final credit decision up to JD 25K)
- Reviewing and proposing credit reports sent to approval from ABC Jordan Board or Senior Committee in Bahrain
- Annual reviews to evaluate bank’s portfolio and present to the Board
- Evaluation of credit proposals received from five account officers and presenting it to Corporate Credit Committee
- Participating in developing Corporate Credit Policy, Retail Credit Policy, Credit Scoring System, and Information System / Credit reports
Responsibilities (Portfolio Size USD 250 MM, more than 150 accounts):
• Scrutinizing Customers’ credit requests received through branches.
• Analyzing clients’ financial statements to support credit decisions.
• Evaluating Project Finances, including review of feasibility studies and determination of finance requirement.
• Monitoring and following up all facilities renewed by branches.
• Preparing periodical reports on the credit portfolio to detect early warning signs of default risk.
• Evaluating Arab Banks’ investments in local public companies
