Undertake structural designs for initiation and completion of engineering projects related to new construction and other infrastructure in UNAMA. Planed, coordinate, scheduled and supervised implementation of engineering projects such as: construction, refurbishment, installation, and maintenance. Acted as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts men and operatives, check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations, ensure all materials used and work performed are as per specifications, oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant, Managed, monitor construction and interpret the contract drawings provided by the client/architect, liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, Foremen and, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project, liaise with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws, day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of subcontractors, planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines, overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site, preparing reports, resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that arise.
